i think we should go for eurofighter or gripen on tot basis with manufacturing of components in Pakistan to lower costs

.
Euro Fighter would be an appropriate reply for Rafale
But their price tag has been a big issue

Visually the internal cockpit does not looks that different from what F16 or JF17 cockpits in general design and use of digital cockpits

Certainly more weapon hard points

Pakistan could , actually build more Thunders Locally , to make up for less hard points on planes

J-10C with PAF's specific customization is the only real option PAF has, that too if economy recovers in next few years. PAF has been looking for a new platform after F-16, but every time it was either economy or politics which proved too much to be overcome. JFT is a great program but we all know its intended purpose. Block-III on wards changes will keep it relevant to modern times but PAF do need a high-tech multirole aircraft till the Project-AZM materialized (if at all).

It's the man and not the machine that fights. A Muslim is superior to a Hindu. So relax. Alhamidullah, we shall prevail. Have faith.
If a nation sufficiently rugged and living away from the luxuries of its time is pushed to the wall and given high enough ideal/goal in conjunction with a determined leadership can/will do the trick.

It appears the Rafale Jet is capable of carrying more missiles (double) what JF17 can carry and also Spectra Electronic warfare system would add new threat
SU30MKi has more hardpoints, but we emerged victorious.

.
30 J10C/D vs 30 Rafale would make sense
J20s would be good.

Ahmed Shah Masood of NA was one of the best fighters against the Soviets. The Panjshir valley occupied entire Soviet Divisions but still failed to subdue Masood Mujihadeen. Stop using broad brush and lumping everybody on one swoop.

Lemme a little secret on to you. Slappig the prefix "Islamic" does not grow you talleer, stronger, mightier. The athiests Chinese could chew every Muslim country on earth and spit us out without care. The 180 Muslims in India have about as much backbone as fluterring leaf. Religion is poor predictor of anything. If you study countries and history you will see religion has little correlation to success or power. Those are contingent on so many other mundane and temporal factors.
What a cheap, weird and pessimistic view.

Well since Rafale will be coming might as well start to discuss the issue instead of ignoring the elephant in room

J10C/D models would have been a more suitable missile load setup to compete against Rafale
as they have 11 hard points
Your issue is 7 hard points vs 14
Now with asea jf17 can see further and shoot first. Which bird would u rather be in now?

On 26 feb JF-17 failed to fired BVR on IAF intruders.... Again on 27 feb JF-17 failed to fire SD-10 on IAF interceptors.... Hack we did not even saw a video of JF-17 firing SD-10 until today... No one even Chinese failed to fix AESA radar on our so called block 3... Im sorry but i would say it blunder rather then a thunders... How would u play with nation security like this.. Now our enemy have most modern jet and u guys are fuking comparing this mosquito with rafale.. We should get out of this dream and face the reality

Why would you assume that thunder cannot fire the sd10 and what is the basis behind your claim of Chinese not being able to fix an AESA on jf-17?
You're assuming things on your own it's better you don't comment on the subject based off of just assumptions.

.
Well I think, the argument is not that JF17 Thunder is not a capable platform
The argument is PAF have two choices

a) Either Increase Number of JF17 Block III in air i.e Physical planes
b) Or Get 30-36 Units, which have similar weapon load

The thunders are actually one of the best decisions our Airforce has taken for a True Workhorse platform

It is just a precautionary view about what assets we have vs what enemy assets exist

IN THEORY :
1 Euro Fight would cost around 80 Million to 90 Million Dollars 13-14 hardpoints
For the same money, we could have 4 JF17 Thunders 24 hardpoints combined

Dude we are talking of a war theater where the latest Su-30mis, Mirage 2000 even failed at simple radio communications, let alone firing a BVRAAM. While Thunder held its own
