Whenever I look at successful societies bar nations with immense resources they have relied on science and technology.
India doesn't have immense oil reserves or rare earth deposits to escape being a theocracy.
Islam and Islamic societies are stagnant, western societies and advanced eastern nations like china and Singapore have left them in the dust due to their emphasis on learning science.
For being the one true religion, Islam is not all that impressive. And the conduct of it's adherents are not that different from followers of the other religions.
The glory days of Islam ironically was when it was leading the scientific world.
India should look forward to a new future in science and technology. Seeing as the Islamic world is a laggard in that department, I see no benefit in embracing the 'one true faith.'
