Wrong in sense that Pakistanis view Gilgitis as second class citizens, in fact anywhere i have gone people have shown me great respect, generally because Gbians are very hospitable and peace loving.so you are saying 'Gilgit-Baltistan' never had elections because you were scared of Indian reactions. We don't have elections in J&K to showcase it tot the world. We have it so that they are represented by their people who can talk their problems. 'Gilgit-Baltistan' people like @WAJsal are saying they are Pakistanis, and want to remain one but you are see them differently from yourselves, as second class citizens in Pakistan.
First of it's GEO News, secondly it has shown it as dispute, look again.
so ,u r saying,,,,its coz of sheer incompetence,,,,well i feel it has a lot to do with Pakistani fears of losing Kashmir,,,thats why GOP doesnt dare to declare them as full fledged provinces even when,as per u,locals want itNothing, you don't expect incompetent people to take such step.
Read this explains everything.so ,u r saying,,,,its coz of sheer incompetence,,,,well i feel it has a lot to do with Pakistani fears of losing Kashmir,,,thats why GOP doesnt dare to declare them as full fledged provinces even when,as per u,locals want it
They help us unite in hate of such weird delusions they have.... wonderful to read the crap they feed their public...They don't know the first thing about GB and they talk. WTF illegal occupation, what sort of a joke is this.
i will go through it later,,,,,,but, honestly do u think GOP isready/afford to go down that road,,,i mean them setting such precedent,,,kashmir ka kya hogaRead this explains everything.
Gilgit as a fifth province
Yes, the locals want it, it's nothing more than ignorance and incompetence. I bet 99 percent of Pakistani members would agree with me, GB should be made a province.
I don't expect much from this Government, IMran Khan has promised to give constitutional rights to the locals when he comes into power. Hope he keeps his promise. The rest, well i don't have any faith in them.i will go through it later,,,,,,but, honestly do u think GOP isready/afford to go down that road,,,i mean them setting such precedent,,,kashmir ka kya hoga

What I am trying to understand is why are you calling yourself a Pakistani when you cannot vote in your region when Pakistanis can, you cannot stand elections when Pakistanis can, you can't aspire to be PM of Pakistan or even Governor of 'Gilgit-Baltistan' although you say you are a Pakistani.
As hard as it may be (coz there are just 6 J&K MPs in Indian Lok Sabha) but still a Kashmiri can be the PM of India!
It's not ideal, in fact it's quite cruel to the locals. But as i have said before i'm quite optimistic that in coming years situation will change. I'm proud of who i am, i am first a Pakistani then a Gilgiti. What I am trying to understand is why are you calling yourself a Pakistani when you cannot vote in your region when Pakistanis can, you cannot stand elections when Pakistanis can, you can't aspire to be PM of Pakistan or even Governor of 'Gilgit-Baltistan' although you say you are a Pakistani.
seems u did not get me,,,,,,,as per UN,GB is a disputed territory ,,,the same UN resolutions that Pakistan has been harping abt for last 6 decades,,,making full fledged province out of GB(or Azad Kashmir for that matter) effectively dismisses ur case on Kashmir.I don't expect much from this Government, IMran Khan has promised to give constitutional rights to the locals when he comes into power. Hope he keeps his promise. The rest, well i don't have any faith in them.
No i get your point. I meant in that line too.seems u did not get me,,,,,,,as per UN,GB is a disputed territory ,,,the same UN resolutions that Pakistan has been harping abt for last 6 decades,,,making full fledged province out of GB(or Azad Kashmir for that matter) effectively dismisses ur case on Kashmir.
at most ur ppl can expect somethng in line of Azad Kashmir,,,i.e. self administration nothng more
Second graders please excuse. I dealt with one before, don't want to again.Oh Uncle which law you keep referring to? Legally legally legally ki rat lagai hui hai?
