AHMEDABAD: The Border security force(BSF) jawans during patrolling detained eight Pakistani national who had strayed into Indian waters.
The crocodile unit of the BSF were on routine patrolling in the Indian waters, when they spotted the Pakistani boat.
The commandos asked the boat to stop but sensing trouble, the boat started moving back to the Pakistani waters.
Officials said that commandos on duty began chasing them. Finally they were intercepted near Koteshwar by the BSF. During interrogation, the eight informed the BSF officials that they were fishermen from Pakistan and had strayed in Indian water.
The BSF then brought them to India and later they were handed over to Naran Sarovar Police station. The Naran Sarovar police has arrested all the eight and is further investigating.
