I fear for the pyramids , i hope the moderates and liberals in Egypt won't allow this to happen. The world and Egypt in particular will lose an invaluable heritage.

Look what they have done in Afghanistan and recently in Mali...Soudis want to control the flow of muslim toward Mecca..The next they will compain to destroy mesjad el aqsa...Although the destruction of the pyramids will be a tall order for them, they refrain from making hard to visit them, which will bring a dent in the Egyptian tourism...

Considering that the Louvre.. an unrepeatable collection and monument of art and history.. has been franchised to Abu Dhabi.
.. greater horrors have already happened.
So maybe if they dont want the Pyramids .. they can put them up for sale..
Maybe soon you wont have to go to egypt to see the Pyramids.. you could see them in Dubai at the Jumerah Beach Pyramid Hotels and Resort/residencies..

Muslims will always flow towards mecca regardless of the Saudis.
Although their attempts to manipulate their control of the site to their advantage is another thing.

Arent you being a bit unfair..for the Egyptian muslims (the salafists like the guy excluded) the Pyramids are a part of their heritage, their history and even their identity.

That person in the video says Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians etc are welcome to live in the State but will have to pay Jizya to provide an income to the State.

In the same breath he goes on to advocate the destruction of the harmless pyramids and statues (they belong to the world and religion that do not even exist anymore to pose any danger to Islam) that in fact provide much more income to the state than can the Jizya paid by the minority reluctant to live there.

As if that outlandish yet dumb suggestion was not enough to stir some controversy, he goes on to portray Osama a much greater warrior of Islam than was Saladin.

How often was it that Saladin ran around hiding in caves and holes like a rat that actually Osama did throughout his last decade?

If I have the liberty to make a speculation... then the funny guy is screaming high - I am up for sale... I am up for sale!

Sad for him, the Americans already have their hands full with more useful pieces.

No Im not, Islam has NOTHING to do with the Egyptian's love for their heritage. Its not even a factor.
