What's new

Egypt president says need growing for joint Arab force

Yeah right .. !!!
Many joint-exercises every two or three months prove how fully aware you are !

Yeh, even kids play marble tournaments too, it doesn't mean they are friends..GCC have always called on Jordanian or Moroccan troops when they need help. They have never called on Egypt...

Egypt's RDF is expected to be the core of Arab joint-forces

You are deluded friend...You will never get that RDF of the "drawing board" Egypt is incapable to change anything in her area, so does the rest of the Arab army's. We are witnessing it alive with the arab coalition headed by the US..It is just the US and Britain that are conducting some kind of fight against ISIS..Arab aircrafts are absent..since the Jordanian pilot was shot down ...
And Egypt too by being scared to go to DERNA and crush the 1500 ISIS...Well, truth to be known, if it was muslims Egyptian instead of copts, Sissi wouldn't have moved his finger...

Who they call on is entirely their prerogative.

You are deluded friend

Tis you who is deluded.

Unfortunately for you it is no longer on the drawing board and has not been for a while. It's first operational deployment was on Op Sinai and its second in Libya supporting Special Forces.

The constitution of Algeria forbid to have her troops operate under another command.

Joint command. Constitutions can be amended. Or you can not join up (well not you).

We are witnessing it alive with the arab coalition headed by the US..It is just the US and Britain that are conducting some kind of fight against ISIS..Arab aircrafts are absent..since the Jordanian pilot was shot down ...

Saudi, Jordanian, and UAE (under Jordanian command) strikes continue.

And Egypt too by being scared to go to DERNA and crush the 1500 ISIS...Well, truth to be known, if it was muslims Egyptian instead of copts, Sissi wouldn't have moved his finger...

ISIS is not the only armed militia hostile to Egypt in Libya, hasty unplanned intervention without goals would be catastrophic and that's exactly what you want isn't it?

However no one can deny that Iraqi sunnis do have legitimate grievances.

Everyone has grievances, as if people in the south have a good life. Doesn't justify supporting terrorism, IS and their supporters should be dealt with no matter what, I really couldn't care about the sectarian card people will use. People on social media are using pics of ISIS crimes and labeling them with 'Shia militias', only few know that they are fake, the average person that doesn't follow this subject would fall for it. Of course to conduct COIN operations requires more than just military approach but the whole Sunni card that people will keep playing won't be accepted as a license to support terror groups.

This war isn't even Shiite-Sunni as people always think it's more an inter Sunni conflict, anti-Shiism is just used to justify the group and gain support. What about Egypt, no sunni-shia story there therefor no one can play the sectarian card when they're fighting terrorists, don't they have grievances ? many of them are poor people. So do me a favor and drop this grievances story, they're well represented in the government, the populace are continuously given the choice between Iraq and the 'Islamic' state. If they decide to choose the latter than they'll have to die.

Iraq will return to the Arab fold the second the Mullah's in Iran are gone. Mark my words. Blood is thicker than everything else.

Even the most religious Iraqi Shia Arabs from Southern Iraq are proud Arabs belonging to ancient Arab clans, tribes etc.

Any Arab trying to stir mayor trouble among Arabs will be punished severely.

Poisonous Farsi Vilayat al-Faqih influence and pollution must be removed.

that's a nice gif

It is. Almost as good as seeing our stateless Berberian village idiot wearing pink once again.

Anyway in all seriousness then I think that the Arab world (especially nearby GCC, Jordan and Egypt) should extend their hands to Iraq even more. In the fight against Daesh and also the upcoming fight against the Kurdish thieves.

This way trust can be restored and a new chapter can begin. Of course the Mullah's presence on the ground makes this harder but at least this could be done in the Sunni Arab majority provinces. A perfect start could be Anbar.

Indeed a pan-Arab force combating terrrorism is long due. Or creating a military equivalent of the Arab League. It's time to take responsibility for our own region. My theory is that part of the problem is that we have allowed foreigners to dictate many of the events and often this has created more instability than stability.

Some people here are witnessing delusion !

Egypt launched air strikes and a special land operation in other country just for retaliation of beheading 21 Egyptians (we're not looking at their religion like others - only national brothers)
and yet some call us incapable to change anything in our area ?!
or we're scared to act against terrorists or we're fearing USA !!

No, we can act with strength .
We're not like other countries in which Americans have been killing 1000s by drones , and no one can say anything about it !!

@Amir_Pharaoh

Dear brother please ignore that Berber troll. All that he is capable of is trolling against every Arab country that is not called Algeria. Be it Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Iraq or KSA. He especially likes to troll the last 3 countries.

My theory is that part of the problem is that we have allowed foreigners to dictate many of the events and often this has created more instability than stability.

The only limits are those that we foolishly believe in and due to that we don't move our asses. If just more of us knew about our enormous potential and the need for Arab unity. I am not talking about merging into 1 country or holding hands in circles every Friday night. The needs I am referring to are something that a blind camel can see.

@Banu Hashim

Totally agree brother , it's about time to deal with our problems by only ourselves .
The foreign intervention brought only ruin to our lands
I wish the western coalition to end and for Arab to act
The region has been facing the worse things since centuries
Even more than the western invasions , didn't expect in my wildest dreams that it would come to this far
Civil wars in Libya , Yemen , Syria and Iraq

Insh'allah we are going to be more united , more stable than ever before
It will take some time , and many bad things to happen .
But in the end , I have faith that tomorrow will be better .

Enough spilling blood over our lands .

.
Hahaha ..
You people are for real ?!
The relations between Egypt and USA after MB ousted are the worse since ever !!

Assuming you people are real, any reason why it's worse. At least from the media it seems Washington-Israel seems to be very happy !
