Egypt Golden Parade: Lessons for Pakistan

The Egyptians aren't crazy. They use the pyramids and pharaohs to promote their country, culture and nation. The Egyptians survive on tourism.
Egypt's tourism as percentage of GDP was 12% at his highest..

Greeks and Spain weren’t Muslim natives originally but the rajas are local to Pakistan so your comparison is stupid
After hundreds of years living and ruling there you are a native. And when does „nativity“ start? No need for us Muslims to celebrate pagans.

I don’t expect from an islamophobe Ex-Shiite a sane answer. Too much uranium in your brain.

Egyptians have been witnessing a historic procession of their country's ancient rulers through the capital, Cairo.
The lavish, multimillion-dollar spectacle saw 22 mummies - 18 kings and four queens - transported from the peach-coloured, neo-classical Egyptian Museum to their new resting place 5km (three miles) away.
With tight security arrangements befitting their royal blood and status as national treasures, the mummies were relocated to the new National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation in what is called The Pharaohs' Golden Parade.
They were transported with great fanfare in chronological order of their reigns - from the 17th Dynasty ruler, Seqenenre Taa II, to Ramses IX, who reigned in the 12th Century BC.
Egypt experienced a sharp rise in Covid-19 infections a year ago, but following a decline in the number of cases and deaths, restrictions on open-air gatherings were later lifted.

Now coming to Pakistan. Why dont we own people who were true heroes of Land???? We discard them because they had different religion??? Because they were Hindus or Budhists ?

On one hand Pakistan claims to be remains of great Indus Valley civilisation. on the other hand disown people who were part of that civilisation.

Like Ashoka or Chanakya ?? Why dont we celebrate Mir Chakar? Why are our heroes Ahmad Shah Abdali ( Afghan) or Mehmood Ghaznwai ( Persian) ?
You have to understand the history of this region,
If you take out these So-called Invaders majority of the land was divided by small states which represented its own history, Besides Muslim rulers you don't see much of unity so in that sense you are only dividing states and trying to force people to support or believe something which doesn't offer much any past nor future.
These same Rulers' created Egypt Giant of its time and left marvels for the world which are still standing to this day, can same be said about Indian rulers, If you remove these so-called Muslim Conquerers beside maybe 2 or 3 rulers there isn't much left of Subcontinental history beside religious historic sites in India.

Pakistan was created for a reason No matter who our parents were before when they joined Islam it all linked us to a chain merging everyone's achievement as one, allowing us to celebrate each other

majority in paksitan are not even willing to accept our own hero as a hero, whenever similar thing happened many of us start linking their ancestral connection with Arabs Turks and iranians centuries have gone yet we are delusional to accept this reality that we are son of soil and those of us which were not converted to muslim they were once part of our society they were our heroes and i still consider them our hero people like Maharaja ranjeet singh who was born in Gujranwala he ruled from Kabul to Nepal and his period considered to be golden period in history later baghat sigh dullah bhatii etc ...its been more than 5 years i am a member of this forum i have never notice any thread opened for these people. until we will not own and embrace this land our country situation at world map will be same like karachi hold in pakistani map, no body owns it no matter if its PTI MQM or PPP all of them just looting it but when it comes to construct the city all of them start putting blame at each other.... so my point is until we will not feel proud on our son of soils trust me we would be a bully in the hand of middle eastern and other countries who will use us sometime at the name of religion and sometime ethnic basses.

In my humble opinion, it’s all linked to their economic value, and this show is all marketing tactics... people travel to Egypt, pay money to see these Pharos (mummies). soo, let’s do an elegant show (Hollywood style) to market them to the world. With this show, even people like me (who are generally not interested in seeing pharos) got to know that they have built a new fantastic museum. So maybe planning my next family holiday, I might add Egypt to the list of choices. And with the history attached, its sure to get high score for my kids to see.

Now coming back to the original question posted, Ashoka, or chanikya , not many people want to see em, so not much income from them. so no one cares much. If today, a few people from developed countries shows interest, our nation will start tv shows, build museums and name parks and roads with their name, etcc and all the marketing things …

So history is only a way to make money nothing else?
bydway Ashoka was Indian Bihari, Chanakya was born in Taxilla Pakistan, but his major achievements came in India.
Ancient Subcontinent history is seen as Indian anyway, I guess Pakistan can have a share.

So we shud celebrate fictional charectors and King whom married their own sisters instead of our holy prophet umar usman and Ali??

I have nothing against any culture but what does pakistan have in common with ashoka today apart from few mulhids and surkhas??

No, History isn't to make money, but if you found a way to make money out of it, then suddenly everyone becomes interested in it. as the saying goes "money makes the mare go". and Tourism is a huge industry to make money from, Egypt are intelligent to invest in this big show, they'll get huge returns for many years to come.

Dang 4% dominating 96% .. Thanks for the compliment.

Never knew we paan eating hindustani muslamans who comprise 4% of the population were able to dominate 7'0 tall , 200+ IQ , Blue eyes and blonde races of native Pakistan who comprise 96% of the total pop...

You gotta up your game :D...

@Areesh
Does domination also mean that we control their women? Now where are my 2 Pathan, 1 Baloch and 1 Gilgiti wives, and a British Pakistani GF??
