- وأكد الفريق أول / السيسى أن للشعب المصرى إرادته الحرة وأن يختار من يشاء لحكمه وأن القوات المسلحة والشرطة سيظلا أمناء على إرادة الشعب فى إختيار حكامه .
- وأشار اننا جميعا جيش وشرطة شرفاء وأوفياء لمصر لم نغدر أو نخون أو نكيد ، وكنا أمناء فى كل شئ وحذرنا من أن الصراع السياسى سيقود مصر للدخول فى نفق مظلم ، وسيتحول إلى إقتتال وصراع على أساس دينى ، وأن ما قمنا به من إجراءات كانت شفافه وأمينة ونزيهه وبمنتهى الفهم والتقدير الدقيق للمواقف والأحداث وإنعكاساتها على الأمن القومى .
- وأقول لمن يردد إستيلاء الجيش على السلطة أن شرف حماية إرادة الشعب أعز من حكم مصر ، وليست فى سبيل رغبة وسلطان أو إقصاء لأحد ، وأننا أكثر حرصا على الإسلام بمفهومه الصحيح الذى لم يكن أبداً إداة للتخويف والترويع والترهيب للآمنين وأننا سنقف جميعا أمام الله وسيحاسبنا على المهمة المكلفين بها فى حماية أمن الوطن والمواطنين .
- وأشار أن الدعوة التى وجهها لنزول المواطنين لتفويض القوات المسلحة للتعامل مع الإرهاب ، كانت رسالة للعالم والإعلام الخارجى الذى أنكر على ملايين المصريين حرية إرادتهم ورغبتهم الحقيقية فى التغيير ، ورسالة للآخرين بأن يعدلوا مفاهيمهم وأفكارهم وأن يستجيبوا لإرادة الشعب ، وحتى يدرك كل فرد فى القوات المسلحة والشرطة حجم الأمانة الملقاة على عاتقهم .
- وتحدث الفريق أول / السيسى عن الفرص الضائعة من النظام السابق واتباعه خلال العام الماضى لتعديل المسار السياسى وإيجاد مساحة من التفاهم بين النظام والقوى السياسية والرأى العام من خلال العديد من المقترحات التى ضاعت أمام التعنت والصلف وعدم الإستجابة لأى نصح حقيقى يخرج البلاد من دائرة الأزمات ، والإعتقاد بتآمر الجميع وأنهم على الحق المبين والباقى على الضلال .
- وأكد أننا أعطينا فرصاً كثيرة للقاصى والدانى للمشاركة لإنهاء الازمة بشكل سلمى كامل ودعوة أتباع النظام السابق للمشاركة فى إعادة بناء المسار الديمقراطى والإنخراط فى العملية السياسية وفقاً لخارطة المستقبل بدلاً من المواجهة وتدمير الدولة المصرية .
- وأكد الفريق أول / السيسى أن من يقود الدولة ويريد الحفاظ على مصالحها العليا لابد أن يقبل بإستفتاء على بقاؤه ام رفضه من قبل الشعب ، وتساءل سيادته هل من الواجب والمسئولية والأمانة تقتضى سقوط البلاد وتغيير الواقع بالقوة وترويع المواطنين نتيجة تصور خاطئ لمفهوم الإفساد والإصلاح فى الأرض ، مؤكداً أن من يتصور أن العنف سيركع الدولة والمصريين يجب أن يراجع نفسه ، وأننا لن نسكت أمام تدمير البلاد والعباد وحرق الوطن وترويع الآمنين ونقل صورة خاطئة للإعلام الغربى بوجود إقتتال داخل الشارع .
- واشار الفريق أول / السيسي إلى أن حجم التحديات السياسية والإقتصادية والأمنية التى تمر بها مصر أكبر من قدرة مصر كدولة ولكنها ليست أكبر من قدرات المصريون كشعب ووطن ، وأن مصر أمانة فى رقبة الجميع ويجب علينا كجيش وشرطة أن نحفظ الأمانة ونحمى مصر وشعبها .
- وأكد الفريق أول / السيسي أنه لم يتم التنسيق أو التعاون خارجياً مع أى دولة فى الشأن المصرى وأن المصلحة العليا للوطن تقتضى وضع مصلحة مصر وأمنها القومى فوق كل إعتبار وقدم الشكر والتقدير لكل من قدم العون لمصر من الأشقاء فى السعودية والإمارات والكويت والأردن والبحرين مؤكداً أن الشعب المصرى لن ينسى لهم ذلك .
- ووجه رسالة لأنصار النظام السابق أن مصر تتسع للجميع وأننا حريصون على كل نقطة دم مصرى وطالبهم بمراجعة مواقفهم الوطنية وأن يعوا جيداً أن الشرعية ملك للشعب يمنحها لمن يشاء ويسلبها متى يشاء ، وأن حماية الدولة ستبقى أمانة فى أعناق الجيش والشرطة والشعب المصرى .
- وأكد السيد/ محمد ابراهيم على قوة أواصر الترابط والتعاون بين وزارتى الدفاع والداخلية والجهد الكبير الذى يقدمه رجال القوات المسلحة وهيئة الشرطة بكافة أجهزتها فى الحفاظ على الأمن الداخلى وبث الطمأنينة بين أبناء الوطن والحفاظ على أمن وسلامة شعب مصر العظيم .
- وأشار اللواء أ ح / توحيد توفيق قائد المنطقة المركزية العسكرية أن القوات المسلحة لا يعنيها الا شعب مصر وحماية مكتسباته والإنحياز لإرادته إدراكاً منها بالمخاطر المؤثرة على الأمن القومى والإستقرار الداخلى ومستقبل مصر الحديثة .
- وتضمن اللقاء عرض فيلم تسجيلى تناول عن الجهود الأمنية المشتركة للقوات المسلحة والشرطة فى تأمين الجبهة الداخلية والتصدى للإرهاب فى سيناء والحفاظ على الأمن القومى المصرى .
- والقى الأستاذ الدكتور/ على جمعة مفتى الديار المصرية السابق محاضرة أشار فيها إلى أن الرسول الكريم قد أعلى من شأن جند مصر وبشر بصمودهم فى مواجهة الفتن والتحديات ، وتحملهم المسئولية التاريخية والوطنية فى الحفاظ على تماسك أركان الدولة وحماية أبنائها ، وأنهم فى رباط إلى يوم القيامة بفضل بما يحملوه من قيم ومبادئ سامية وتضحياتهم المستمرة فى سبيل الوطن .
- حضر اللقاء الفريق / صدقى صبحى رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة وقادة الأفرع الرئيسية وعدد من قادة القوات المسلحة وقيادات وزارة الداخلية وعدد من قادة وضباط القوات المسلحة وهيئة الشرطة .‬
