No doubt the food from the Levant countries is super healthy. Lebanon, Syria, Palestinian, Turkish, Greek foods are not only delicious, but very healthy.
I agree with you but it is not about a particular region rather about the foods mentioned in the Holy Quran and those are available everywhere.. So we need to these instructions and guidelines in Holy Quran to increase the proportion of Omega 3 fats / oils in our daily life.

These are our national fat reserves and we will use them in emergency situations. I guess you find your mirror reflections in them.

This lady should accept Islam now
Only Allah can guide anyone..but she explained it in a good way and without any prejudices so kudos to her..

Probably the best middle eastern food is Lebanese, without a shadow of doubt:

how do you issue this award/certificate...that can be your personal opinion and you can say it is your favorite food...
I have eaten Lebanese food and I found it tasty..

Ramadan can help people reverse their pre-diabetes by burning the visceral fat in the liver and pancreas, such are the wonders of Islam.Kudos bro
That's true sir... and it can really help...

I have tried almost all ME food, and this Lebanese one stands out among all! they truly know what they are doing. Their Hommous, Tabouli, Shish Tawook, Fatoush, Foul Mudammas and a dozen other things are super healthy. Persian food is too meat heavy in comparison. Mediterranean diet is totally superior to almost all other diets. Their disease free long life spans are a bonus. Lebanon has a life expectancy of 86 years. That is very high.

Pakistani food is great but it can be bit overcooked, oily, meaty but if it combined with salads, lassi, raita... it becomes healthy ...however naturally Pakistan is blessed with some of the best environments and soils to produce the best fruits and vegetables ... listen to this Irani origin girl from UK about her experience and Pakistani food

*Eat like a healthy Muslim.

Our cuisine is pretty unhealthy to be honest. Use of ghee and white meat runs rampant in Pakistan. Minimal use of vegetables and lentils (unless due to financial restraint). Rice used as main staple diet (that too bathed in oil). You could walk on the streets and never guess this is the third world with everyone having pot bellies and whatnot.
