The Air Marshal General Qamar Sulieman donated the F16 funds to the earthquake fund supposedly.

All those funds and donations were looted and plundered by the govt officials---. Was Air Chief Qamar Sulieman also involved in the loot and plunder---.

This is a shocking video---. For how long I have been talking about this SABOTAGE ON THE INTEGRITY OF PAKISTAN by the Pakistan Air Force---all you members know about it---.

I bring it out again---. At the time of Prophet Mohammad's death---there was no food in the house----there was no oil in the house to light up the lamp---yet there were 8 swords hanging on the walls of his mud house---.

Sir, my father is retired from PAF.... remember the word "EXTENSION" ... Normally your COAS get criticised because the whole country and media focuses on COAS but Air Chief has better house, better facilities and much less strenuous job. COAS in fact have been under a lot of stress due to this hybrid war while your air chief relaxes and enjoys the facilities of the airforce... In recent time, Sohail Amman was a better air chief who was busy and did a lot of work.

That is what I stated decades ago---why F16---.

If Paf had gone for the M2K's in the 80's---the indian air force would be left hanging dry.

That was a stab in the back of the French by the Paf.

Pa created a drama of the russian aircraft incursion into pakistan---the Paf mirages were enough for the russian migs---. The first afg/russian aircraft were taken out by the mirages---.

Exactly , India can’t go to US for Mirage 2000 equivalent F-16 and and you will get better deal in Rafale and the edge which PAF has enjoyed would be maintained ..... believe me Rafale is far better then Chinese planes , whatever happened was good for IAF to get some qualitative parity with PAF

I personally think that airforce should be made subordinate of COAS..because as a matter of fact PAF has a support role ... it is just a side kick of PA without any of its independent identity. Years of wrong decision ... BTW I'm not against acquisition of F16 because it was a better A/C than mirage 2000 but PAF should have acquired a good number of Mirage 2000s (-5, -9) etc especially when USA imposed sanctions. No airforce relies on a single A/C and even PAF has many different A/Cs like F86 Sabre and F-104 star-fighter, mirages etc
AirChief should be equal to Major general of Army in ranks along with Naval Chief and be the direct subordinate of COAS because these forces are support arms. He should select both the air and naval chiefs like he promotes brigadiers to majors and Lt generals.

I am surprised that the Paf is not under control of the COAS---.

Please---one more time---.

If Paf had gone for the M2k---then India would not get that aircraft---.There was no F16 available to india---.

F16 is not superior to M2K---they both have their advantages and disadvantages---.

Iaf would have stayed with inferior aircraft---.

The best aircraft is not the best buy always---sometimes the best buy is the second best aircraft---.

You have to keep in mind the procurements of the enemy as well---what it wants and what it is looking for---.

Time has proven that the Paf blundered into the F16---. They lied to akistan---and time proved them a liar---.

The video is based on some reality but the OP's usual ill-informed tirade is derailing the key issue. The PAF's pursuit of the F-16 was INDEPENDENT of its pursuit of the M2K.
As I have repeatedly refuted his claims of equalling the F-16 purchasing with the M2K before, the F-16 purchase was to meet the original requirement for a air superiority/multi-role aircraft laid out in the original 80's Air Staff requirement.

The M2K was borne out of the need for a deep strike asset AND WAS PURSUED IMMEDIATELY after 2001. However, the French at the time were desperate to sell the Rafale and kept insisting that Pakistan's request for only 28-36 M2K was not sufficient for them to restart the line and that we should buy the Rafale(which was much expensive) instead.
@war&peace The PAF Should not be under any COAS or undue influence of the Army because until recently the PA possessed very little knowledge of Air power as such.
The PAF needs independance just as the PN does, but what is important is need to change national character regarding corruption and nepotism; the rest will sort itself out.
