Dynastic politics in Pakistan

well so far, there are 2.....the Islamist party, and the MQM

PTI, i havent read their entire manifesto. There are differing levels of feudalism by region...Balochistan being the worst, Punjab and Sindh very much still having it exist there as well

sir , how many people in PK really read political parties manifesto , Do you think it can be any bigger than 5% ? Point is one has to hear it loud and clear or else its just cr*p talking.. " so lets agree its only MQM !!"

.
uhhh yeah sure; MQM arent exactly saints either.......we can see how some of their youth ''activists'' behave in public; with their colours and their display of automatic weapons

by the way, are we talking about MQM-Altaf or MQM-''haqiqi''

Sorry to say both 'MQM & MQM-H' are fully harmful to all the Karachiites. If they were sensible enough, they would not were always ready to destroy or harm the very people who supported/ voted them.
But we can not only blame MQM/ its die hard activists in destroying Karachi/ Hyderabad. There are other major parties involved also i.e. PPP, ANP, JS + Religious Parties esp. Jamat/ JUI etc. For whatever cause/ reason, Karachi is a play ground for them & they are always ready to disrupt & play their dirty games. Such a shame.

Thanks

You don't think it's possible to have a party in Pakistan that nominates its candidates for election democratically, as in the U.S.?

there is already one party...the only one actually.

it's Jamat e-Islami

There is none in pakistan.

Most of the islamic countries backed by usa have dynastic politics. the biggest of all is Saudi Arabia where Saud dynasty rules with support from usa. Saud even changed the name of their country Arabia with their family name saud (saudi arabia). see morocco, jordan, hosni mubarak in egypt (now disgraced), and lot of other dynastic rulers and all are backed usa.

LOL. Terrorists Mafias. all pre-decided results

. .
Is that your opinion, AZ?

it's the carbon copy of Ikhwan in Egypt....same ideas same principles. Well organized, well funded; they do elect their leaderships. They are fairly 'democratic' in that sense.

I don't follow the groups activities, so i dont know much else about them. Don't really care much either, to be honest.

.
I see a transition in Pakistan's political culture... despite that these dynasty based parties are strong, I dont comprehend their next generation continuing to cash in their family legacy...

I see future belongs to PTI and alike Parties...

We need change in system of governance rather than bloody revolution.
We need to prevent the bogus vote which lead to the victory of unpopular feudals.
We need to get rid of baseless divide upon which those dynasties flourish.

Be careful....our energies and emotions shall not serve our enemies.

What about your self? how do you classify your differences?

That's how the appointments shall be made and we need system which prevent any attempts of appointments otherwise.

In today's Pakistan even judges are appointed on political affiliation and any one can be bribed to by pass merit, ignoring duty to the sacred state.

.
well i do know that ihtesab (accountability) bureaus especially in the past were also politicised --which is very bad

from grass-roots level to higher up --the ''system'' and the mentality have to change.....

even in American, you wont find politicians who are as rich and living as lavishly as some of our MNAs....imagine.
