Drones won't fly without bases in India

Not really up on my India Pakistan history, but the last time Pakistan tried to "speak" to India, didn't you get your asses handed to you? Might want to stop "speaking" to India, it doesn't seem to end well for you guys.

wait till you get the hate my man. The green eyed monster will be here ;)

Didn't the Indians give base(s) to Israel in the 1990s to attack Pakistani nuclear facilities... until Pakistan of course threatened to nuke India regardless where an attack on Pakistan's nuclear facilities came from.
Please give your Pakistani conspiracy theories and imagined victories a rest here where members from other nationalities are present.

Talk about Pakistani theories and Pakistani facts with only Pakistani nationals.

India maybe making another stupid move, perhaps, but make no mistake, India will be spoken in a language it best understands.

Prove it from a netural and reputed source . I know you can't .

Not nuke, Pakistan didn't have nukes at that time. What Pakistan threatened was a retaliatory strike against Indian nuclear sites. Indian (smartly) rejected the Israelis.

Pakistan had the nuclear bomb in the 1980s but not the missiles until the middle of 1990s.

Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan had even given an interview to an Indian reporter in his house during General Zia-ul-Haq's military-rule, stating that the Americans know full well that Pakistan has the nukes. General Zia-ul-Haq was Martyred soon after and the Pressler Amendment was also applied against Pakistan thereafter.

I've been Googling for the past 10 minutes or so, can't find anything. Must be what he learnt in a Pakistani Madrassah (sp?).
Pakistan tested its nuclear bomb in 1999 and he is sayig that Pakistan threatened to nuke India in 1990 so you are right ;)

And we are back to peddling the fictions of think tanks as the stand of the USG. The USG or POTUS have never (NEVER) formally requested any basing facilities for drones or otherwise..nor will they ever. Consider the fact that India even refused to allow its ports to be used for regular logistics stops for the USN..a rather benign expectation when compared to letting them fly drones.

Okay, if that is correct, it still means that Pakistan couldn't threaten to nuke India, because Pakistan had no method delivery...so you're still incorrect.

The whole Israeli angle is true though, they made the offer and that too in Britain through the respective liaisons of both countries in the British Isles. They expected a whole hearted and exuberant acceptance from our side instead they got a flat out refusal..we like our appearance on the international stage as a nation which resorts to violence only in retaliation (in terms of appearances if not always in substance). There was never any threat of Pakistani reprisals in kind..unless the PAF meant to fly all the way to the south eastern coast of India across an ADGE which has always been denser than its Pakistani counterpart..albeit the fact that such an action would have been a declaration of (unjust) war would have factored in heavily into our decision to abstain from participating in or abetting the Israeli plan.

AND it does not matter whether the technology for nukes was present at that time or not..NO COUNTRY WILL EVER UTILIZE A NUKE WITHOUT ACTUALLY VALIDATING THE PHYSICS PACKAGE OF THE WARHEAD FIRST.

We wont allow any American base because we are a sovereign nation. Unlike Pakistan.
