Drone attacks, Nato supplies federal govt’s domain: Khattak
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister-designate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak has said that the provincial government has no authority to stop drone attacks and supplies to Nato troops in Afghanistan.

Talking to newsmen here on Friday, Pervaiz Khattak said that the federal government has to take decision about the drone attacks and Nato supplies.

He said that the drone attacks are against international laws and they would raise voice against this at every forum.

The PTI leader promised a positive change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

its a federal subject and you cant go against the constitution.

The best the provincial govt can do is to put pressure on the govt at center.

Well, this is duty of Federal Government.. & now it's time for PML-N to go for peace talk with US, and try to stop it as they claim.

But PTI should not fool people for false promises. Like tsunami, clean sweep, and then hitting down the drones, which is close to impossible. since it start after understanding between Pakistani Intelligence and US Intelligence.

Don't matter. Forming part of the government and then choosing to stay part of that government while the sovereignty of the state is not defended is not a constitutional demand for Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf or any other party for that matter.

Bahi Sahib, I am saying Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf should pull out of the government if the government refuses to take preemptive or retaliatory military action against the attacks.

There's no law in the land which makes it mandatory for Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf to sit in a government which is hesitant in this regard.
