AL government has a long-term plan that it seems to be executing successfully.
They have announced the bringing in of universal pensions for everyone over a certain age. This of course relies on tax revenues going up till tax to gdp ratio hits the S Asia average at 15-20% of GDP so quite a few more years to go at current rate.
As long as BD government does not start spending money on "white-elephant" infrastructure projects that some poor countries like to do and keeps defence spending at the bare minimum(it should go up a little from current levels IMO), then this is very much possible for BD.
