Dragunov Sniper Rifle

This grave-looking thing is a sniper rifle and is designed for extermination of any emerging, open, masking and any other targets in motion. It is a self-loading rifle and accurate fire is provided in single shots. The size of ammo is 7,62*54R (3 inches in length and 54mm in radius.

Comparing the bullet size to the target thats roughly a 4inch target so the rifle is shooting arround 2 MOA ( 4 inch spread at 200 yards )or worse as there may have been shots that missed altogether.

Seeing a good rifle and shot should have put those shoots in an inch circle at that range either the rifle or the shooter is off. Its a sniper rifle not an anti tank weapon, putting a hole in a 10mil steel plate should be less important than hitting the target.

Like all Russain weapons, too highly exagerrated. You will be lucky to hit a target at 1000 yards, if your lucky..........not a very accurate weapons at long range, which is what a sniper rifle should be all about

The Dragunov is not a true sniper rifle but a designated marksman rifle or squad sniper rifle, meaning its role is to extend the range of an infantry squad out to maybe 800m, and/or put down rapid fairly accurate fire, via its semi-automatic firing capability, on enemy targets which the standard infantry weapons can't reach.
