Good riddance for Pakistan, whoever is on specific agenda is parting away which is a good sign. EAC is not that credible or important anyways.
Why take people with ties to IMF or other lending institutions. PRevious EAC were built to beg for loans and for that they found people from these institutions to head and negotiate loans.

PTI should've accepted Dr. Shahid Hassan Siddiqui like people who are Pakistan-based and anti-IMF.

For Pak economy nobody will blame the EAC.
ITs the Finanace Minister Asad Umar, Finance Secretary, NEPRA and OGRA are the major institutions which make the call.

Few days back the director of world bank came to Pakistan and he proposed south Asia connectivity and after that Atif Mian posted his blog on CPEC. I was following that news closely. I was a bit shocked at him for his comments on CPEC. Now the pattern is becoming more similar.

What has happened was unfortunate. We need to combat bigotry in our society.
But if this person is unable to deal with setbacks and challenges like this then he is not a fit and proper person for this task, no matter how qualified he is.

I have no idea but why my main question is why is this such a big issue and suddenly being made fuss of. All the sarcasm which is coming to this is strange. We did not hired 3 economists so what hire the other 3.
Why allow WB and IMF into your countries policy making?
