Downsizing Pakistan's Military

With Oil Prices down to $60 a barrel and collapse of Russian Stock Market I don't see the new found wealth of Russia being of use for much longer..... practically Russia still exports a huge sum of weapon systems to India... and on a sheer numerical terms it will not be possible for Pakistan to off-set the possible loss stemming from an angry India in the case of Russia selling weapon systems to Pakistan... moreover where is the money for Pakistan to buy any new weapon system....?

Humanoid; sir
are you sure that"Oil Prices will be down to $60 a barrel " in the comming future!;)

forget about that, just check russia 's comeback as a superpower at world stage, there are a lot of chances that a new crisis can happen in eastern eourope very soon, and russia in charge of the affars there!;)

a super power without strong economy ?i see chaina as super power in 2020

ok i accept your stand now plzz on topic its not the topic of thread

Well its India as we can see but they maybe doing it for China or to become "superpower"

India didn't buy any arms from US as yet. pakistan did buy some A/C and weapons, but what you paid is nothing for them. Remember, their defence budget is around 400 billion dollars.

So, divide and rule concept to sell more weapons doesn't hold true.
