Bhai everything can be scripted these days. If not scripted, then selective editing to suit your agenda is also very common.

It can be a skit but I checked the logo of this channel, Satsang, and the one in the vid is similar to the ones in Google image search. Or it can be an edit with the original channel's logo pasted and the skit done to present the oppressive thought among these sadhus.

If the guy was actually doing a skit to denounce caste system, it is very apt that it is put on a religious channel. Because I don't think any channel is going to risk endorsing untouchability today.

Remember that being a baba is a game of numbers. It is statistically near impossible to have large number of followers only from upper caste. Most babas have followers from all castes. It is sheer commerce that will prevent such things from happening

I am strictly against treating Babas more than what they are worth.
There is nothing wrong in having a spiritual guide who understands certain things better than you. Just like there is nothing wrong in learning Programming or Science from someone who has more experience and better understanding than you.

Lets face it. Life, purpose, existence, creation etc are very complex subjects and there are people who understand them better than we do. What is a problem is revering these people, prostrating in front of them, singing their praises, holding them above law etc.

These Salafis themselves are regressive people in many ways and after replacing the babas they themselves became the priests, the ones to hold political and social power over the masses. So no problem solved.

He goes to Turkey and Greece and declares that in those places there were Shiva temples - 4700 years ago in the former and 3400 years ago in the latter. And when he is not declaring outside structures as ancient Hindu temples and talking rubbish about history he is spouting total nonsense about life.

I can be an infinitely better "spiritual" guide than these babas.

I am not talking of specific people. There are good guides and there are crass commercial ones.
Just because DrJekyll may be a shite programmer touching women students boobs does not mean that good programming teachers don't exist.

And yes, by all means become a spiritual guide. You don't have to be a 'chosen one'. Just be good at your subject.
