Pakistan needed a more active Foreign Office, if Donald Trump can meet Ashraf Ghani why not Nawaz Sharif?!?

I was watching the Donald Trump speech to the Islamic nations , and on the point of which countries have faced terrorist attacks , he start with 9/11 the deadliest Attack on USA , and than talk about Europe , Middle eastern Countries and than he jumped to India , Australia and other countries completely ignoring the one of the country which is effected by Terrorism most, and has been the front Ally in this War on Terror and that is Pakistan .. Should i call it a mistake , bad foreign Policy of our Leaders and lack of lobbying on international Front ? what ever the reason is that Trump mention countries like Behrain , Kuwait and UAE ( smaller GCC nations ) ignoring Pakistan in almost everything even include that its a Former COAS which is leading the Islamic NATO .

Donald trump's using India name under the terror Effected country and not Pakistan is indeed a Hypocrisy because i don't know what else to call it ?

lets discuss this that are really getting Isolated despite some Pakistani fanboyz jumping on every visit Pakistani official made to poke Indians that we are not Isolated ? Today as a Pakistani i feel insulted for my nation and all the 5000+ soldiers who died fighting the War on terror from the front line , and made significance advancements to destroy the Terrorist Networks , It won't be too much to say that Performance of Pakistan to tackle Terrorism is far greater than any GCC or NATO country operating in their or on foreign lands .

As a Pakistani common Civilian i would like to launch a protest to the So called Arab Brothers or American which call us their Ally in this war to ignore our dead, which not just include Law Enforcement personnel but civilians that include kids (APS) and women and elderly people in almost every Part of Pakistan , Why none of our Arab Brother stand up to talk that Why trump Ignore the matter of Kashmir where the innocents are dying in hundreds and India's use of brute Force on Students ?

What my Country and Soldiers and Civilians did to fight the Terrorist does not need acknowledgement from any but as far as this nation ( Pakistan ) and its people stand firm with the security forces to crush we would not need anyone's acknowledgement but it would be good to see the world stand with us and see our blood as Human blood .. we have already see Hypocrisy from the Donald trump and Arab nations on the wave of Terrorism that Hit Pakistan in February this Year which concluded with 100+ Innocent Pakistani's dead and hundreds injured .

IMO as far as the US sees Pakistan, the OBL-abbotabad saga changed the discourse fundamentally. Pakistan simply has to become much more developed economically and socially for the relationship to start reversing in other direction again with US taking more cognisance of Pakistan's positions etc...beyond the level of more direct security/logistics-based current engagement.

Trump didn't really stray off the US path here w.r.t Pakistan optically/verbally here.

it is a blessing in disguise for pak if US ignores or forgets pak. they have always used us and abandoned us in the past. we have fought their wars for decades and suffered losses and only the elite in the country got the benefits from the master. right now US is more busy in syria, crimea and NK so it is a good time to concentrate of the development of the country. CPEC if worked upon with honesty and vision along with proper utilization of the natural resources available in the country can make this country a developed one in small time but i am sure our leaders will fail us again and again and they will beg US for small mercies.

He derives his importance for being the President of USA - whether we like it or not, they drive a lot of things that matter to us.

Fact of the matter is - our foreign policy is a miserable failure - be it at SAARC, immediate neighbours, be our so called ummah brothers, or strategic partners.

In foreign policy; optics and posturing matters most for countries like Pakistan which has very few perceived positives from international standpoint. However, if we want to compare with countries like Mozambique and Chad then it's a different ballgame.

Majority of the people of Pakistan are not corrupt. The ones who are corrupt are can be divided into at least two broad categories (1) ones who are intrinsically corrupt and they need extreme punishments (2) ones who have been coerced by the system to do corruption.. I can go on lengths on this topic but I stop here to let you think and reassess.

OP why do you care if he mentioned Pakistan or not? This is good thing actually.

Because when he mentions India and how it is affected by terrorism, that means he is indirectly accusing Pakistan because it is Pakistan which is always being accused of sponsoring terrorism in India? This is despite the fact that it is an Indian national a serving IN official in Pak custody charged with abetting and sponsoring terrorism and not the other way round. And this proves how pathetic our foreign policy has been and continues to be. This maybe a good thing for you but over all a very bad thing for Pakistan because this is a forum where Pakistan should had been strong and if anything it would had been how Pakistan continues to suffer terrorism at the hands of both India and Afghanistan and how many lives Pakistan lost due to that and billions of dollar lost and still continues to play its part so that a world can be a safer place.
