Donald Trump Speech to Islamic nations from a Pakistani's Prospectus

.
Saudis are wise to be have good relations with USA.

They have access to American universities, technology, trade benefits, etc.

.
Well for the start he is turning their military aid to you into loans.
Its not as if it made any significant impact. I am surprised why it wasn't done before. The more US does it, the less leverage it has on us. So in long-term it is actually good. Still doesnt qualify as a loser

I love Trump
One can only feel sorry for you now

The elephant in the room here is our weak foreign policy and our weak economic stature compared to the countries you listed. All of these problems stem from our corrupt leadership and the mismanagement of our bureaucracy in our domestic affairs as well as our foreign affairs. Our political leaders never negotiate with foreign nations from a position of dignity or respect. They're more concerned about looting the country and beefing up their financial gains.

Compare our leaders to those of Saudi leaders or even Iranian leadership. The contrast is like that of night and day.

US has strong economic and military interests invested in Saudi Arabia, Europe, Israel, India, and Australia. These countries have some form of leverage or influence within American politics that ignoring them would be like shooting oneself in the foot.

But all of this presupposes the fact that we even need American approval of our sacrifices, which honestly we should not. It makes us look desperate for approval. It should not matter to us because as soon as we start respecting ourselves and get our own house in order only then will we earn the respect of others.

We are making the same mistake we made with relying too much on America and now we are doing the same with China. I know many won't like this but this is a fact. Relying too much on one country makes us beholden to them and that should never be a position we should desire to put ourselves in after having gone through similar relationship with uncle sam. At least in this regard indian foreign policy has been sensible. They are enjoying strong relations with every regional and global rival. Whereas we Pakistanis always jump into one basket happily.

Nice signature. My feeling exactly.
It is true that the current state of our foreign policy is pathetic. We have been doing without a full time foreign minister for four years now but what we must realize is that we do not need any commendation from 'papa' America whose policies have only intensified terrorism instead of eliminating it.
The entire war on terror is a farce, a person kills 40 people in a suicide blast and he is a dangerous terrorist, on the other hand, CIA drone strikes duly authorized by Obama kill 4000 civilians and Mr president gets a Nobel peace prize and what happens after such a strike is an increase in the support of the 'recognized' terrorist groups. The so called war on terror is nothing but a quest for a new world order which benefits a certain community and makes the 'gunsmiths' richer than they were before.
After 9/11, the Taliban were willing to hand over Osama but no, uncle sam had to invade just for the sake of it and what happened after that invasion is history and the results of that invasion can be seen in that country and in Pakistan. Similarly, the invasion of Iraq under the pretext that Iraq possesses WMDs and then the justification given by Tony Blair that Saddam after all was a dictator who gassed the Kurds without knowing the fact that at the time of the gassing, he enjoyed the support of the US and the West, anyways...Why do we want a pat on the back from such a country which is anything but our friend? If anything, it proves that the people here follow the mainstream US narrative which is being propagated by the media houses owned by a certain community instead of thinking critically.

Maybe we are happy when our country acts like the dog depicted in this cartoon below...I don't care if this gets deleted or whatever, this was the truth and many people want this to continue.

Hey what can you expect from the mindless goons who are ruling us. Our politicians use foreign office and other resources to promote and develop their personal relations at the cost squared of the country.... when your former president stands in the queue outside white house to catch a glimpse of the new US president, when your ministers come here to badmouth your own establishment, army and other institutions, when you let the traitors rule you. When your PM is known throughout the world for his corruption and no one respects him and still your institutions cannot remove him...

And when your COAS says that it is not the duty of army to do everything...other institutions have to play their role too.. This has to happen..

Gen. Raheel Sharif, maintained a good level of communication with US and other powers but Gen Bajwa has resigned from that role too.

But after mentioning the failure of our govt, it should also be noted that US administration is against Muslims and Islam in general. However every POTUS licks KSA's feet because of its money and the influence in the region.

Obama and Bush Jr stood up to the Saudis

90000 lives lost and 90000 families broken forever...APS forgotten.

What more can make Pak a victim of terror... who has lost more blood and treasure?

The Pak elite has betrayed Pak on every turn... it is a Miracle that Pak is still standing.
Time to end this betrayal and this infernal corruption!!!!

Corruption is Crime Against Humanity!
Who made the decision to join the war on terror ?
civilians were not in charge after 9/11
