Does the Muslim community deserve the hate they're getting ?

Its a well known fact that around the world the Muslim community is the one that least integrates into the societies where they live. They create ghettos and their own little worlds where they only interact with each other and can at times be hostile towards the locals (irony).

Especially for the Muslim communities in the west , radicalisation is turning out to be a huge problem. At first this was only an issue at home and the middle east but now its hitting every part of the European world as well as North America. They've lost thousands in the past few years because of these terrorist activities.

And perhaps not just terrorism but overall criminal and uncivilised conduct by the community (and yes this usually involves a small amount but they're the ones who stand out ) has really blotted our image on a global scale. The influx of Muslims in Germany showed a spike in sexual assaults and other crimes. British Muslims are known to adopt this behavior (as suggested by another thread some days ago). Local clerics March around the cities calling for the implementation of sharia law.

Which brings me to the question in hand. Do we deserve to be hated ?

Do you have sources to prove what you say about muslim crime? Or are you indoctrinated by various websides that only do propaganda against muslims?

Lets study a typical twitter account that its only purpose is to spread hatred against muslims.

https://twitter.com/amymek

Not a single twit that has not to do with how bad are muslims and islam. I can make easily a similar account to attack any religion-ethnicity. The trick is that you have 1,7 billion muslims(23% of the global population) and its easy to find every day bad news about some muslims. So what these accounts do? They take all negative news about muslims and they constatly scream how evil islam is. Only racist bigots who like to read news about how bad islam is can dellude themselves and believe what they read. The logical person knows whats the purpose of that account is

. . .
You said that thousands are leaving islam and now you claim that islam beheads those who abandon islam. How can both be true?
The people who live in non muhammadian countries and people on the net like me are leaving this cult Dailey specially in Iraq and Lebanon and Syria

.
The problem with asking for reform also comes from this. There can be no reform because - IT IS THE FINAL message and FOR ALL TIME. Reformists will have to dilute the message, thereby making themselves apostates in the process.

That is the catch 22 situation.
Muslims face a Hobson's choice and hence why we see what we see.

Thats because Hinduism and Islam are not equal. Both religions are not the same.

That should have been obvious.

Not equal does not mean mutual respect is not deserved, right?
Or does not equal means one is superior to other, hence......

All religions must be respected.

However Allah sees Islam as the only true and acceptable religion and hence superior to other religions.

This should be obvious.

.
Well the Non-Muslims are supposed to be treated according to just and moral principles.

bullocks.
Care to go through the laws in Saudi governing how non-muslims are supposed to treated?
In the land of your holiest place, non-muslims are not treated as equal.
Your post, well intended, only makes mockery of the reality of the whole thing.

Your first line and second line contradict each other.
Imagine if other religions felt the same way about their religions. We would have chaos.
Respect is absolute and must come without any conditions or notions - only then humanity will survive.

You can believe whatever you like.

I am telling you what religious scholars and sheikhs have told me since I was a little boy.

There is no contradiction. Catholics also believe only their way true.

How are non-muslims treated in a unfair way in Saudi Arabia.

Non-Muslims are supposed to be treated according to just and moral principles according to Islam.
What more do you want?

As have priests in temples but we always take religion with a pinch of salt for obvious reasons.
Spirituality can do wonders to ones well being. No doubt about that.
There is a difference in how literally an average hindu/Christian/jew/Buddhist take their religion VS a Muslim. More importantly, the extremists in other religions do not do as much damage. Hence the debate here.

Saudi does not allow non muslims to even pray as per their customs.
besides that, bigger point being, why should muslims force their laws on non-muslims? Isn't that a contradiction in itself?

In Saudi Arabia, non-muslims can pray according to their religion, but in private.

I grew up in Saudi Arabia for the first 18 years of my life.

Imagine if every non muslim majority country did the same to muslims- ask them to pray in private.
Does not feel right? Does it?

Well Saudi Arabia does not claim to be a secular country.

Saudi Arabia can be thought as one big Vatican city.

If Islam is secular, how can the country that is the torch-bearer of Islam not secular?
Don't get me started on the hell hole Vatican. If I have to point at the single most dirtiest group in the world, Vatican would be my top choice.

What do you mean by Secular?

Saudi Arabia is not secular like France, Canada or the Republic of India.

Saudi Arabia is tolerant of other faiths, as long as they practice in private and they do not preach their faith.

.

One seemingly popular debate , just thought was relevant.
I having lived and conversed with Muslims ,and strongly believe, that people with Islamic ideology chose infiltration over integration.
