Pakistan's future is with the Pakistani people, no one else. We need to boost education, industrialization and vocational training efforts at wartime footing. We need to stop clinging to super powers. Get to work, stand your ground and enact zero tolerance towards corruption. Without eradicating corruption, we cannot progress. No one wants to work hard anymore because they see so many of their harami peers making money with little effort. It's demoralizing. Hard work needs to pay back. Until it does, the nation cannot stand up for itself.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan doesn't want handouts, but investments from its Chinese friends, says Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

He praised China for progressing in various sectors and lifting numerous above the poverty level during the last three decades.
Pakistan has China as a model to emulate and replicate its development reforms, PM Shehbaz Sharif said during a meeting with the representatives of Chinese companies investing in Pakistan on Monday.
The premier said that Pakistan looks forward to seek support from China in every walk of life and it will benefit from China's experience in the fields of industries and agriculture.
Pakistan has resolved that we will meet all the challenges however difficult they are and take Pakistan towards progress, the premier said.
"For this, Pakistan needs real support from our Chinese friends, not in terms of money, aid or handouts, but in terms of investment, trade and expertise."

So he will not ask them to roll over the $2.5B?

This is the problem, they look after the future of Pakistan or their own future ?
So when it comes to decide between their and their children's future OR Pakistan's future, then they go for their own future. Their money that is saved in foreign banks will get evaporated if they don't follow the instructions and they'll go bankrupt.

This is not an option; it is a necessity forced upon us.

All this talk of balancing and diplomacy misses the point that the US is irrevocably against Pakistan. We can and should pursue economic interest but, strategically, they will never accept a strong Pakistan. The US will only tolerate a weak Pakistan that is subservient to India. This will not change no matter how much we dance to their tune.

1. The US' top priority is China containment and they have picked India as their regional ally. To that end, they must weaken Pakistan so India can focus on China.

2. The all-powerful Israeli lobby in the US will continue to push an anti-Pakistan agenda even if we recognize them. Israel will never accept a nuclear-capable Pakistan. It is non-negotiable.

3. The Muslim world is irrelevant. The Arabs and Iranians are locked in their eternal conflict, the Turks are schizophrenic about being part of Europe or Asia, the East Asian Muslim countries are rightfully focusing on domestic issue first.

If Pakistan loses China's trust, that will be the final nail in the coffin for this country. The economic meltdown will be followed by a reduction in military budget and forfeiture of our nuclear assets. For people who think that will never happen, why do they think the civilian and military leadership cannot be bought? Do current events justify such a sanguine self-assurance?
Pakistan has full trust and confidence of China, it is the corrupt politicians who are flirting for more money with all and sundry.

Pakistan is responsible for it’s own situation. One trusts that the question is not being asked in a bid to blame the US (as is the fashion) for every unfortunate thing that happens in the world.Pakistan got itself into the “situation” where it finds itself. Hopefully it stands up and admits it, and sets to work getting its own house in order if it doesn’t like where it is…

.
Pakistan is a burden that China has to carry for its strategic needs, had it not been for that they wouldn’t even bat an eye. They have to throw money at a dead horse to try and get it past the finish line. In the business world we call that a “sunk cost”.

Actually their own personal future is with US because all their offspring study in US, they do business in US and west, they also follow the culture, they have investments in the US, so they dont give a damn about Pakistan or its ppl.

ALL the premises presented in this paragraph are WRONG.

Nothing is irrevocable in international geopolitics. USA helped Pakistan start its atomic program, and sees its nuclear weapons as a guarantor of a war-free subcontinent, and USA clearly can have good relations with both Pakistan and India. This is not an either-or schoolyard game.

America's decision to turn a blind eye to our nuclear program initially is well understood in the contemporary context. It has nothing to do with America wanting what's best for Pakistan or the region.

Pakistan has full trust and confidence of China, it is the corrupt politicians who are flirting for more money with all and sundry.

Trust is earned.

China (and the world) can see how the establishment and judiciary are handling the current American-sponsored coup. When a country's top institutions fail to defend the country from foreign interference, it sends a clear message to friend and foe alike.

Our future is with China & Russia & our only hope for prosperity & intigirity of Pakistan is Imran Khan an honest & petriotic men...:pakistan:

They will take away our nuclear weapons if this is the kind of military leadership we have.

This military leadership only thinks of its retirement. This is why it is signing up on the line given by Americans. The problem is America gets everything and we get nothing in this deal. The line is accept India's subservience and recognize Israel. Bajwa has said publicly we want to normalize ties with India with no reciprocal message from India. How can normalization be unilateral?
While the civilian govt led by Imran was clear that Pakistan will not budge on Kashmir question.

There is only one man standing. And we should stand with him. In general, we are an ungrateful nation. We did not deserve honest leadership like Imran Khan. I hope and pray Pakistan is prosperous and fulfills the dream of its creators.

There is no choosing sides. This time Americans have selected India. We can dance as much as we want. We are on the sh*tlist. It does not mean we become enemies. It requires we realign ourselves. But with this myopic and cowardly military leadership, we cant thing beyond being America's bitch.

In this conspiracy, we knew where PPP and PMLN stood. But the military establishment has been the biggest loser. Its a dent to its reputation, it will not be able to repair.
