China has invited some other countries to the upcoming BRICS summit in Xiamen as guests :welcome:, and a few have confirmed participation (Egypt, Kenya, Tajikistan, Mexico and Thailand). This is sending shivers down the spine of the Modi regime, which fears that China wishes to slowly transform BRICS into BRICS+ or even BRICS++, potential blocs that would include more "pro-China" :china:countries, including, horror of horrors for the Modi regime, Pakistan! :pakistan:

Understandably, Modi and his criminal sanghi chaddie buddies, the crooked Indian foreign policy establishment and the dirty yellow journalists of the Indian media are greatly worried about this and are freaking out: :taz: :woot: :cheesy: :dance3:

India’s Freaking Out Over China’s “BRICS-Plus” Proposal

:yahoo::cheers::omghaha:

China should proceed with the logical expansion of BRICS into BRICS+ and further into BRICS++. Pakistan and other countries would naturally be a part of this expanded bloc, which would be welcomed by all countries in the existing BRICS (except India) and by the whole developing world in general.

If the Modi regime wishes to play spoilsport, it can withdraw India from the expanded bloc. The grouping would be much better off without India in it. India under the crooked Modi regime is nothing but a troublemaker for the entire world!

I hope Xi Jinping does not disappoint on this one, and takes concrete steps to expand the bloc at the Xiamen summit. Pakistan deserves to be a part of the expanded grouping for its contribution to Asia in particular and the developing world in general.

Same way China is playing spoilsport in NSG. China is welcomed to withdraw from it and be its kind like Pakistan and NK out of NSG.

Currently China is the country siding with two of the three known countries termed as Axis of Evil, Some even called different names to various countries in that group as migraine of the world. This is not my saying, but diplomats of US of current and previous regimes.

Best way to make any group irrelevant is to engage in competitive interests/zero sum game. SAARC is a perfect case study and example to not do such things. Because it will start from BRICS then spread to SCO and then you are back to square one and make new groups again.

China would be better off joining other economic blocks.

The recent BRICS meeting made it apparent China doesn't need additional members to keep Indian rhetoric in check.

I don't know... It's kinda useless I guess.

Let the five members develop their country first to be first world before asking other countries to join in.

Coming to the summit as guests is not same as becoming a member. Anyway BRICS has become irrelevant in my opinion because of lopsided interests of its members.

Very aptly said.

Guests is not membership.
India is member of UN does not make it permanent member.
So guest should stop their wet dreama

Some people are so ashamed of their nationality that they are even willing to display the flag of their enemy country in DP.

I think BRICS plus will happen if India didn't back off at Doklam.

It wont be BRICKS , it would be BRCCCKS.

Now you can pull the B , R , K , and S , remember the SU and Warsaw pact countries and its end economic product.

It's a joke to include Egypt, a country that has absolutely zero economic prospects, especially under the authoritarian Sisi regime. Egypt is wallowing in debt, it has massive unemployment, tourism industry dying off, no civil institutions to speak of, no political freedom, people live in fear in that police state.
