Doctors emerge as the new literate goons of Pakistan

After the lawless and devoid of any humanity, lot of lawyers, we have another set of goons in this society. Humanity has been made to hang its head in shame yet again by the Doctor goons. The incompetent rabble-rousers are afraid that their privileges are under threat in the face of the health sector reforms (a neglected sector that saw some shake up the last time under Benazir's lady health workers program - revolutionary). The lives of babies mean nothing to these beasts. The entire society is being dehumanized to unimaginable extremes. Many would just read this piece of news and move on. However, think about it, A BABY died due to the heartlessness of these criminals masquerading as messiahs of humanity! The most innocent life there could be, lost!

Sounds fake,,, according to dawn link,,, the strike was limited to opd's.
Emergency services rarely go on strike.
Just another attempt to go after the soft targets,, i. e the doctors.

What they are agitating against is unwarranted. This is just to protect their privilege, plain and simple. In their agitation, the most innocent creature in this world breathed its last moments into coming to this world. Why should criminal cases not be registered and the on-duty doctors for the day tried for premeditated murder? It is premeditated if OPD is shut.

Considering most of these doctors probably don’t know how a cannula works(had to have this engineer teach them how to administer an injection from it) I am apathetic to their demands in specific to their careers but sympathize with the generally broken system like all other systems in Pakistan they have to face.

Their incompetence is exactly why few of them are agitating in Islamabad. They clashed with the ICT Police during a protest against a final licensing exam after the medical education regulator introduced a house job. They are agitating here because if efficient management is introduced to public sector hospitals, half of them would soon find themselves on the streets. The status quo suits them, and any attempt to upend it extracts reactions from interest groups whose well-being is inextricably linked to its sustenance.

What about 1000s of people dying everyday in major hospitals just because the TMOs and staff is absent at clinics and essential equipment is non fucntional because the MS doesnt ask for replacement nor the govt is interestes in providing it
Equipment availble in 1960s is still lacking in pakistan
E.g no CT scans in tehsil THQ hospital
Forget about MRI

1100 districts wouldmean it will cost just 10b rupees to do so

No US machines
Hell no EKG machines
No defibrillators
No ventilators
No ICU

Why??
Because we dont have the staff to run these things
Docs just want tl write ڈسپرین and send people home
Just providing CT and US to all THQ and TPA kits would cost<10b rupees but will save on average 1000 lives every day

Our maternal moerality is 100x higher then srilanka because our midwifes take money and dont work

Our immunization is worse because LHW/polio do a couple of snow photoshops and thats it
