What's new

Do you consider Pakistan to be a Middle-Eastern nation?

We are not trying to associate ourselves with anybody. Our identity has been clear to us and unchanging since thousands of years. It is this new kid on the block which is trying to determine its identity on the globe.

Aren't you a day newer than this new kid? Look up the dictionary for the word Delusion.

. .
Political liberation is not equivalent to creation. Our identity is thousands of years old. Our history books dont start from 1947.

Thousands of years old is not your identity. Indus Valley people looked like Baloch, not adivasi like you.
As I said, look up Delusion.

In your continent sized territory can you not find a single old civilization to latch on to that you have to steal other's identity from across the border?

Indus valley civilization is as much ours as is of Pak. Just because they decided to create a political boundary and expel millions of Hindus / Sikhs from that region does not mean that we will forgo our heritage.

First of all those Hindus and Sikhs are not actually related to you other than religion. They will not even let you marry their daughters.

Secondly you avoided my question. Why is there not a single ancient civilization in your country the size of a continent? Inferior people?

We are culturally related to them. My maternal side also comes from there.
Based on present archeological findings, the earliest civilizations in the world were Egyptian, Indus, Chinese.

We do have our mythological stories to fall back on as well. Ramayana / Mahabharat stories are set mostly in present political boundaries of India.

Barely. These stories were probably written by the time Indo-Aryans reached Haryana, which is essentially Eastern Punjab, who are more related to Pakistanis than Indians (excluding low caste).

The rest of India, being tropical, has historically hosted a large % of the world's population, yet no civilization in the Ganges or Deccan. I wonder why everything worth mentioning comes from Pakistan and Punjab.

I think Pakistan is at that part of the world where they can pass off as both middle eastern and South Asian. Don't know what most Pakistanis identify as in the west. If you say you are south asian most people will surely think you are from India so I guess Pakistanis will identify as Middle eastern more to avoid that.

Dude people of Haryana/Punjab are same as rest of India, some might be fairer, some taller, some shorter but essentially the same facial structure, same people. Please give this aryan theory a brake.

Of course they are not same as India. There's a reason people of Punjab look like West Asians and not the people of Orissa or Kerala. Just look at the map.

Some people can have confusing phenotypes but shouldn't draw conclusions based on that. For example Qatar's king looks like average Indian, can we say Qatar belongs to India?

He looks 100% indian. The average Pakistani looks more like the archetypal Middle Eastern Atab than he does.

Maybe he has Indian ancestry who knows, lots of Indians in middle east just saying .
Indians look like Indians mate, a foreigner looking like an Indian is an anomaly not the norm. We have our unique looks that make us alike and differences that vary from person to person. For every example of a Punjabi/Haryana person looking different there will be countless examples of them looking similar to people from other parts of India, same case for other states.
Not that looks really matter as long their citizenship is Indian, Indians can be green Martians for all I care as long as they are proud Indians. Just enough with the aryan propaganda trying to create divide.

Pakistan is Pakistan, it doesnt need any association with any region. It's the world most ancient civilisation, an entire ecosystem on it's own.

Have you read or seen these stories (Mahabharat / Ramayan)? If yes, you would not say so.
In Ramayan, Ram along with his wife and brother travels from Ayodhya (UP) to South India and Sri Lanka and back.
In Mahabharat, their seat of power was in Hastinapur (present day Delhi).

And the story of Indo-Aryan migration / invasion is bumkum spread by British historians to fuel divide between North and South Indians.
