@PakSword @Farah Sohail @Path-Finder @Arsalan @Imad.Khan @Moonlight @The Accountant @django and other like minded posters:
Never mind the klasra factor in vid above if you don't like him, concentrate on what he is saying. IK knows what fasli batairay he is using against the status quo to bring it down.
IK has the understanding of how it might be possible to break the Shackles and win the elections...now he needs to stop talking about it to alienate people like myself.
My point is much more elaborate than a seemingly off the cuff comment like above. Let's see if I can make my point clearer without tipping off the incorrigible lot bent on wating time and trolling.
Imran Khan essentially needs support from the masses at an unprecedented level like 2013 and even beyond - instead of sending out message that he is happy that electable are joining at every opportunity - basicly relying and hoping for electables to do the job.
The right thing for PTI is to create the same hype and verve of 2013, plus a step forward, work on every front, woe the masses at unprecedented levels. I know its easier said than done but is PTI looking to woe the masses?
The slogan is excellent, now, time to make it seem possible and prove that you mean it too.
A way to achieve that is to tweak its Election campaign based on a national election funding campaign based on a request from the common people to create a fund...for the fresh blood candidates.
Essentially,
Make common man own the campaign and feel just as important as any other pompous arse ruling elite. That's called generating interest and party ownership at grassroots level. That's also a great game changer.
This need for tweak arises due to the above stand that PTI must make to win the hearts of voters on an unprecedented scale; they must pledge that every third candidate (may be 5th in practical terms)at provincial level shall be a fresh blood, visionary Party worker and leader. The numbers shall add up too if you look at the number of seats while falling a bit short from every third but close enough to 4th or 5th or even 6 candidate...you get my point. The MNA seats may well have a few new faces too and it's all about how the true message is packaged based on ground realities.
IK should speak to the public via video and print advertisements..."I want people's support and funding to show the electables that they have no choice but join PTI or become losers" - Instead of saying that I always wanted electables to win elections, which he does but to top things off and not in singularity. That electable is everything mantra is not faring very well with everyone who voted for PTI in 2013 that I have spoken to till now.
PTI needs to send out the right message. It's all about sending the true heart to heart message to the masses with practical on the ground proof of its claim to show everyone that this is it, now or never.
No electables can stand their ground if the masses tilt towards an honest heart to heart from an honestly Uncorrupt leader like Imran Khan. The main electables will have to compromise with PTI on provincial seats when they see the wave of support rising towards IK at an unprecedented level.
Electables are just one part of the election wining equation. It is a war of interests, while electables know the game inside out, the rest of us voters are naive enough, as
@newb3e called me, to not understand the details of the game they play. That's the reason for their success. They bring in their bradary/ sect/ ethnicity vote percentage and together with the winning party's clout of voters, they win their seats. Without the support of a winning wave of a leading political party, even the electable stands to loose.
This election may well be swept by PTI if the same voters who voted for PTI come out again in urban areas with the added support of electables on those rural seats that were lost in 2013.
The urban seats look like in the pocket of PTI as ballot stuffing looks tougher for PMLN this time around too.
It is a very practical and real possibility that this time around PTI may sweep the seats with overwhelming majority. It just has to break the shackles of relying on any singular factor and make its efforts to woe the masses at an even larger and unprecedented level than 2013.
