Do leg extension machine cause you pain ?

I love exercise , cant leave it . People do say i dont need it but i cant sit all the time vain nd inactive at home .

Best exercise in my opinion is swimming. You work out every part of your body and it's great cardio.

Bhai pehle bat to ye kay mery gar qareeb koi jaga nahe swiming layq.

Or upar se me hun b ultra-legend. Swimming b nahe aati. Haan kisi city mere job lagti hy to join karun ga swimming classes. Filhaal to gym se he start sahe rahy ga.

I used it for few days and it has caused me great pain in legs , knees .. is it because im new in it ? Or should i not use it ? Is pain normal ?

Im 21 and skinny.
eat more parathas and ghee then you will be 21 and and aunty.
but generally if you are applying a lot of weight then it will hurt. i have the same problem. except i am not 21 or skinny ....... i was gonna say sexiest man alive but most people will laugh......lol

I assume u r aiming to tone ur muscles rather than bulking up. The best exercise to tone ur legs and butt is squats...don't add any weights. Just grab the barbell(which typically weighs about 45lbs) and do 3 to 4 sets with high reps(about 20 reps...but it will vary early on..start with what u can do comfortably and then go up). This would also add enough muscle mass over time so that u wouldn't be "skinny"...it should look just right after a while. Most importantly pay attention to ur form while doing the squats...reduce ur reps or weights if u have to(in order to get the form right)...but make sure to always do the right form.

The same would go for the upper body. Whatever muscle u r working on...do low weights with high reps. Make sure to cycle through all muscles within a week to keep everything proportional...and whatever muscle group u r working on always do the right form.

As for the pain that u described...the aching should be due to the fact that either u just started this weight training or u haven't worked out for an extended period of time...also I think u did more weight than u were supposed to for a beginner. Whatever the case ur body would slowly adapt to it if working out becomes a routine thing for u. Once this becomes a routine thing for u...u will still experience some pain/aching/soreness after every workout but it wouldn't bother u as much.

Oh the vanity ..

As long as you feel full of energy and active with a balanced food intake, no need to worry about anything else. Skinny is not a problem.

After a certain age your metabolism slows down and you will miss your skinny stage after getting fat.

Fortunately for me, that hasn't happened yet.:D

How many sets? How many reps? What is the weight you are lifting? Assuming you are a beginner .......... you need to follow a plan according to what you wish it to be? Fitness or building .........

In normal circumstances sore muscles mean you are doing it right, you have it the targeted area ........ you need to watch and monitor your intake of vitamins, proteins, calcium etc

it is normal ... it is because your muscle fiber breaks due to stress caused by lifting weights ... in a day or two it will be repaired & you'll recover ... increase protein intake for fast recovery

skinny or bulky ... it happens to everyone

Today at the gym two really nice sisters came over and said why do you train so hard....you don't need to lose weight. I found it so funny tht even in this day and age people think gym is for bodybuilding or losing weight
