★ You're equating “Nation" with “Country". A nation needs a shared language, religion or ethnicity to be viable, a country doesn't. India is already an amalgam of a multitude of different “Nationalities". So, the question of India getting broken up into many new nations doesn't even arise...

★ You seem to believe that only people with shared language, ethnicity or/and religion can live and thrive together.. I won't blame you for this flaw in your mindset. After all, your own homeland was formed on this exact basis. So this mode of thinking has been hardwired into you. The same goes for the op @Dayalbaba BTW. What people like you don't understand (or refuse to understand), is that Diversity itself can be a catalyst for Unity. India understood this a century ago, and that's why, despite all the predictions and foreshadowing of gloom and doom, we're still here.. And not just surviving, but thriving.

This is what I am saying.India is a union of language,ethnicity,religion and ideology.And the natural outcome of any union is disintegration.All union disintegrate with the passage of times.Show me one union which is existing in perpetuity? If you look at the history of this sub-continent it was disunited much much longer times than united.If you look at the time frame,unity will appear to be the anomaly.There are natural,geographic factors in India which encourage fragmentation just like Europe.
