Disintegration of India looking more and more likely in today's climate.

India in its current form is not a nation but the collection of somewhat poorly connected nations where people widely vary in ethnicity, language, customs, and religion and economic outlook.Regionalism is gaining strength in India day by day and it may lead into full fledged independence in future.
This is where you are wrong. India as a nation and the Indian identity is not based on religion, political ideology or ethnicity. India is union of multiple culture, language and even ideologies. This is what we all are proud of and there is nothing that causes us any agony or dissatisfaction. We have some problems but peace and unity comes first.

And I believe i say it for all of us that We all are Indian first then a tamil, punjabi or a bengali and then we are hindus, muslims, sikhs or christians.

India's national identity is not based on religion or ethnicity. That doesn't seem to be a problem for national integration as we rank significantly lower than our neighbors in fragility index.
No common culture, ethos, religion, ethnicity, language ... a classic artificial sate with no basis is the so called india, even name is British inscribed lol

Look who is talking about disintegration of India a county man whose country herself is the result of same disintegration :chilli:

When I saw Writer's name and then where he posted, a big alert came to my mind 'COMMUNIST' so skipped BS blog.
Communists are wishing to break India for long but never happened and will never happen.

India was never a country or one kingdom throughout its history, it was always a region akin to europe with a lot of independent kingdoms/nations...disintegration of India would be natural !!!

LoL,he was a good guy,but he is anti-BD and his posts are sometimes rather insulting, than humourous which he intends it to be.

he is not anti-BD. It is pathetic some BD members have made BD into a laughing stock here. Look at the quality of posts by them ( I agree even other nations members do it; but BD has special lead in it) at times .....!!

The other day there was a plan to put an advanced Air defence system on a boat in Padma river!!!!:hitwall:

and India was being invaded and defeated by BD Army ( I don't know what scenario and what reason that will come about; and how will BD Army win also!)

I am an admirer of federalism and dont mind regionalism even a tiny bit.. it think it makes us stronger and more vibrant...
I wont give up my identity and aquire an 'indian' identity. its not necessary... and most indians are comfortable to give each other that space... we want the union to be malleable and flexible not strong but brittle.

I know its very difficult to comprehend for people who take pride in single ethnic/language/religion status.. :)
It may seems like that. But consider the case of Scotland. They are part of a very democratic and liberal union for 300 years. They have an overriding British common identity and they were part and parcel of global British enterprise but still secessionist tendency is strong there and it may be another one referendum away to become indepedent. This type of things may occure in India if it achieve same level of democratic evolution like UK.Disintegration may happen even for just economic dispute like that between England and Scotland.India already experiencing unequal development among the states. It may exacerbate in the future and along with different language and custom it may act as a catalyst of independence movement.

I was Joking, as They are chanting what some scholar wrote that they really desires.

I meant as you wrote "you have better insight" but they don't need one with Good Insight as anyone with Good understanding of india will see their desires not coming true anytime.
