Except that the founder of modern day Pakistan, General Zia ul Haq ensured that religion remains intertwined with everything to keep everything suitably entangled to be exploited at will. By design. All subsequent rules have continued to exploit this feature. ALL of them.
This post alone goes to show you are a certified gas lighter who lies routinely in his posts using conjecture that you pull out of your *** to fit the tiresome contrarian bit part you love to troll with, either that or you are a ignoramus of the highest order who takes pride in being an ignorant buffoon.

Bhutto who is still alive in Pakistan, whereas Zia has been dead for 34 years, is widely credited as the man who brought about the '73 constitution which enshrined the role of Islam in governance whereby no laws can be made contrary to quranic junctions and whereby the only sovereign is Allah. The same constitution also declared your beloved qadianis kafirs and your Bhutto then went on to ban alcohol and Indian films. And he didn't just stop there, he was also the father of Afghan jihad under whom Hikmatyar and Masood being the up and coming young islamist leaders were originally recruited to do anti commie bidding.

Zia could only dream of the achievements Bhutto made in the name of Islam and ummah, as such we live in Bhutto's Pakistan, not Zia's.

secular or not. pakistan doesnt have the pivilage to print its own money supply.

IMHO Pakistan’s poor economical development is more to do with its political model rather than whether it is a secular society.

Pakistan’s governance model is a typical “western” style, which features separation of power and democratic elections that leads to change in government periodically. Politically such a governance system is sound and is very suitable for developed countries in the west. However, for a developing country like Pakistan, such governance model creates two important outcomes that are not inductive for economical development: 1) a highly restricted government 2) a high “hidden” economical cost of doing business.

Having a check and balance on government is necessary to prevent it from exercising power reckless but it can be over-done easily. Unlike the developed nations, economical development in developing country like Pakistani may require necessary and significant social reforms that can be quite radical. The current system limits the government from conducting such policies and lead a more “organic” development. An organic development for developed European countries is perfectly Ok but not so much for Pakistan.

While on face value, Pakistan has a lower labor cost which should be attractive to foreign investment in labor intensive industries. However, the current political model has a high hidden economical cost that tend to be overlooked and is not “capitalist” friendly.

One needs to be mindful that Pakistan being a developing country has a very different starting point from the developed ones. Having a rich country like political system on a developing country has many undesirable outcomes that needs to be considered.

That is a significant contributor. Pakistanis have high level of consanguineous marriages and consequently highest rate of diseases and low achievement.

This is a serious issue tbh. The long term affects are going to get worse it has to stop.

Should open a new thread for this - although I would still put Pakistan's issues down to incompetent governance and extreme nepotism.

Another explanation why your wrong:
So how do you explain China? 1.5 Billion people and the second largest economy in the world.
You keep saying one child, but you fail to mention that even with one child they have 1.5 BILLION people and still managed to become the world's second largest economy. A large pupation, like everything else is neither good nor bad, it's how you wield it. Pakistan wields it poorly, China did it right. In fact, China is now terrified of its population decile. They have not only rescinded one child, they have gone up to 3.

Because they are LARGE country. The THIRD LARGEST in the world. They already struggle with so much air pollution.

You want big economies? Watch the bloody video. Basically you want lots of workers and consumers exploiting resources just to circulate money. That by definition is big economy.

It's neither sustainable nor environmentally healthy.

We are failing because of JANRAIL Raj

Trident of JANRAIL Raj , their servants Supreme Courts , and Election Commissioner

And general understanding how the "Loot" will be divided between crooks

JANRAIL Raj gets % cut , no bills to pay for water/electricity/ gas. Plots and Property deals

Judges get Ghee and Chai Pani from Politicians and Governmet budget

It is the Chai Pani Culture which JANRAIL Raj love

They look the other way because "APNI CHAI PANI CHAL RAHI HAI"

The front men (Do the dirty work, handle cash and hera Pheri) - They give a tribute to JANRAIL Raj (Raises, Gifts , Extensions , Perks , Offer of Property / Plot distribution )

PPP
PML
PDM

Are mere , Administrative hand of JANRAIL Raj they promise JANRAIL Raj a Tribute from Buget

We are not a REPUBLIC . Because votes are rigged and botched
We are not free

FIND me a JANRAIL who is poor and sleeping on ground

I don't understand how this is not prevented in U.K. I can understand how it may go under the radar in Pakistan, but doesn't the couple have to apply for a marriage license before getting married in U.K.? In my county, a license is not issued if the applicants are first cousins are closer. These are our rules:

At least you have accepted the idea that what we have now is not Jinnah's Pakistan. As for the rest, it will take a little more maturity to see that it is Zia's Pakistan now and was never Bhutto's. It does not matter to me. :D

Quite hypocritical to suggest it's Zias and not Zulfiqars Pakistan.

We are in 3rd Generation Bhutto rule and yet hatred keeps you blind to the truth.

Something far, far more evil replaced ZAB in 1977, and it has perpetuated itself far more successfully, hidden in plain sight. This is indeed Zia's Pakistan, without any doubt.

Pakistan still functions on a constitution authored and dictated by Xulfi Bhutto. The erstwhile unit of West Pakistan was designed by Bhutto not Zia.

Why do you insist on blaming the weapon for murder instead of the perpetrator?

ROFL. Are there any authorities that are above the Constitution in Pakistan, that really run things, that come to your mind? :D
