Yeah, you don't know a single word of Mandarin, do you? It says, Han waiters needed. It didn't mention Tibetans at all.

So in other words, only Han are preferred. This is discriminatory for non-Han ethnics in China.

.
Most of the boss will prefer to hire Han because they are greedy...

While Tibetan love slower pace of life (aka lazy).

Hmm. This is not true. Japanese Business Federation even conducted feasibility studies in ASEAN and showed that workers in ASEAN countries were as equally efficient as Chinese workers in China. So, you're not accurate at all.

An observation by the American Diplomat in the same cable -

Large subsidies to Tibetan communities and moves to areas more accessible to themarket economy improves housing. This does not seem, however, to have yet translated into significant business opportunities for local Tibetans. The lack of a business tradition in many Tibetan families, lack of access to capital, and ethnic discrimination are high barriers to the growth of Tibetan entrepreneurship. Poor attitudes towards the local population on the part of the Han majority are likely to continue to be a catalyst for stronger national feelings among Tibetans.

Obviously,u don't understand the overtones of my words:azn:

Indians definitely speak more than one languages. You can learn any Indian or European language with 1/3 the effort put on learning Mandarin language. :coffee:

One day, my friend, you will come to realize that there is not much fun feeding the trolls and the hope of engaging in an academic discussion goes down in shambles. In another word, ignore Indian and Vietnamese trolls. :p:

Good luck with that..

That sounds like Pot Calling the Kettle black, because in case of China you don't have a common language but its the Chinese script not a common language that unites Chinese. I heard about 400 million Chinese can't speak national language Mandarin and manage communication using the common Chinese script.

As for India, most of the Indians are multilingual, I can understand Hindi, English, Telugu and use whatever suits me. Most of Indians don't know English, its mainly Hindi that is used as lingua franca across India and English to smaller extent. We learn English for our own use like making money, not because of British fantasies and knowing English has its own benefits.

We dont call you anything but the largest pitch dark thick soot-overed pot, in literally everything in India dude
Sorry but true :p:8-)

Chinese is the UNIVERSAL language despite the dialects and the ONLY LEGAL language in China unlike India. Mandarin is taught in all schools and universiities as the only means of communication

For an international event like what you have held as the "Commonwealth Games" all your people were shouting out of their lungs in unison " ten, nine, eight (with accents) ..." what does that mean to you? That applies in your rocket launching count downs as well.

What a shame! :dirol:

I have refuted literally all your accusations @ all my above comments adequately. :cheesy:

If you have picked out one or two cases as examples (without reference to the above) for discriminations then you people are errorneous in generalising the case in Tibet

Our folks there are given the best opportunities to grow and prosper in Tibet by our government.

State Council Approves US$21 Bln Investment in Tibet -- China Development Gateway -- Sharing Information, Knowledge and Tools

People's Daily Online -- China pours huge investment in protecting Tibetan culture

Can Indian do the same in Dharamshala?:dirol::fie:

Distorting fact and history again! Without a written script what constitutes a proper language? All spoken variation of Chinese are dialect derived from Old Chinese. Mandarin is also a dialect. Chinese language is tonal, any change in tone, makes the dialect harder to understand. Unlike India, China is already united as an ancient country, it has a common majority ethnicity, culture and language.
India has hundreds of ethnicities and languages, they don't even belong to the same language family, Indo-Aryan vs Proto-Dravidian. Do not lie, English is the lingua franca of Indian government and corporates due to British colonial heritage. English is also the preferred language among the upper class, many whom learned English as first language.
