Since your aware of this issue and government lip service towards minorities which I agree doesn't help. Are mainland Chinese allowed to buy property in Tibet autonomous region? Because if so, this is the only protection they needed, not a quota system which governments love so much.

I doubt any non Tibetans would want to live on high altitude without thousands of years of evolution lol.

Again over protection like kids only does more harm than good and fragment society. What China should do is to help Tibetans integrate within mainstream society, first by treating every citizen as individual with equal justice.

Oh I'm also against some American schools' admission policies. I'm against any policies that classify people based on who they are. I'm a liberal on some social issues but not this one.

At times the positive discrimination in US universities is almost unbearable especially with respect to where limited scholarships and TAships go.

China should definitely end the positive discrimination policies in a regulated and orderly manner. Too much care leads to spoiled brats with little real life utility.
