The lack of knowledge on our own religion Islam has taken us to human centrist belief due to these reasons masses are blindly following human leaders(Extremist or Liberalist) without any common sense, ready to take or give their life for the cause of their leaders.

I am a big fan of a Turkish show Diriliş: Ertugrul. It is very popular amongst Muslims across the world.

Some people will watch this show and buy a hat and call them self an Alp and act like children. For them Ertugrul is Turkish Rambo.

Other people will watch this show and see lessons on how his state was built using trade, military might, political compromise and patience. Now Muslim countries today cannot be strong by making swords and carpets, but the wise there is a signal to focus on education and trade.

Everything in life is what you make from it. Like you said, history is not meant to be impersonated, but studied to learn lessons from only.

I do not know which country you live in. I live in the UK and here we are taught success is found in pushing forwards, In improving, innovating and exploring new ideas.

Agree 100%. The best thing to learn from history, not just our own, is what mistakes were made and what worked well.

As far as the show Dirilis: Ertugrul, the central theme of that show is that Muslims have always been kept back by traitors and backstabbers in our own midst.

This theme has been constant in Islamic history from the beginning. We can’t blame the West completely as the cause of our own weakness is lack of faith in our Islamic ideals and our leniency to deal with these traitors who keep taking advantage of us and conniving with our enemies.

Pakistan’s last 17 years, maybe it’s whole history even, is an example of what happens when a great leader, great ideologue, and great movement are usurped by the enemies of our own people.

After losing 75,000 innocent Pakistani lives and a whole generation, it seems we are finally back on the right track.
