Did PAF Pilots Carry Out UAE AF Strikes in Libya?

it becomes clear that the Arabs are quite incapable of flying sophisticated planes or even fight a proper ground battle.

But Pakistanis can. So logically speaking, Pakistanis aren't of Arab origin as many of them claim! QED!
you dedicated naughty troll YOU!!! tsk tsk tsk

Pakistanis ARE Arabs but they can FLY
just like Eric "blade" Brooks is a vampire but also a "daywalker"

get it?

Okay, let's discuss Islamic Civilizations. Where does the great Pakistan fit in that equation ? Oh yeah I almost forgot. Silly me. I forgot that you guys are "shaping global existence" by permitting the Yanks to bomb your citizens in return for a paycheck :D
Sir PlanetWarrior
Pakistan and its nationals have a lot of faults and shameful ones at that. However unlike you we are happy to admit these faults and try and rectify them. This has not yet happened on a national level with disasterous consequences for the nation. Indeed the Pakistan that was concieved in 1947 is dismembered and in my view no more. However I dont need some cheapskate to come in and gloat over the inadequacies of my homeland so please keep your holier than thou cow piss ridden nose out of it. I would request you to keep your sarcasm to yourself and if you cant hack it leave the forum. I would however be very greatful for any constructive comments that contribute to the thread from you or anyone else.

The points raised are very likely mischievously intended. This is a troll thread, nothing more.

I think @araz 's post puts an end to this thread. UAE pilots must be competent enough to do all this by themselves. They do not need PAF pilots for a simple bombing run.

No need to call @RiazHaq sb's intentions into question like this.

So, considering what has been said thus far, it becomes clear that the Arabs are quite incapable of flying sophisticated planes or even fight a proper ground battle.

But Pakistanis can. So logically speaking, Pakistanis aren't of Arab origin as many of them claim! QED!

Secondly, if UAE buys the Rafales instead of the F-16s, then they would probably request the Indian Air Force for help to fly the planes because of the reason as mentioned in line 1 above! 8-)
Ahem, ... how can i offer you a lift in Limo when i'm stuck with a Lada, my friend, India first needs to induct and master the Rafales before you can quote the example.:-)...Whatever Pakistan's ancestral roots maybe, it's not a secret that at one point Pakistani armed forces or instructors were running the show in Middle East...news has it that it was PAF which helped Turkey set up it's first F-16 unit.

So is there any reason for this thread to continue if that post "puts an end to this thread"? :D

Pakistan Air Force has zero interaction with the UAEAF F-16 block 60s. The only other possibility left is the Mirage 2000 out of which the number of deputed pilots has now fallen to one or zero. The UAEAF has its own competent Khaleeji pilots and has less and less need for other air force help.

. .
Its not that.

It is called global alliances.

You work with your allies, train them, and are involve on different levels....

For example, U.S soldiers in Korea fought for Koreans because it was in mutual interests. U.S soldiers weren't mercenaries....but rather part of global extension of their civilization protecting the interests of their allies etc.

Anyways, india has never been "global" anything..and is backwater of the world with no role in shaping global existence of humans..unlike Western and Islamic Civilizations, the only two global civilizations of human existence.

So I can understands, as an indian, you won't be able to understand these things.

punnies don't understand how big boys work. ;)

American war against North Koreans, Vietnam and then Iraq in dessert storm was part of their state policy.
Americans decided they wanted to get involved in the conflict , to get an outcome that was in their interest.

They openly declared war on these countries, deployed both men and material. So American pilots were flying, American planes and bombing targets decided by American planners, to achieve American objectives.

Even though I doubt that there even an ounce of truth in this speculation.. here it would be PAF pilot flying Arab planes bombing targets decided by Arab high command to achieve Arab objectives.

However strange, this might not be first time personnel Pakistani armed forces acted in mercenary capacity.

Reminds me of Brigadier Zia -ul- Haq's actions in Black September in which tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees died.
Even though killing Palestinian refugees wasn't a part Pakistani state policy or benefit Pakistani state in any form, Pakistani soldiers got involved and did the dirty works for the Arabs.

1. Pakistani contingent was stationed in Jordan and assisting Jordanian troops. It will be extreme intellectual dishonesty (something you Indians are very use to of) and deviation from historical facts to claim that tens of thousands were killed by the Pakistani contingent under the command of Brig (later Gen.) Zia.

2. Tens of thousands deaths is propaganda, which biased Hindus like you spread without shame. An estimated of 1000-2000 were got killed. Jordan's Palestinian Challenge, 1948-1983: A Political History - by Clinton Bailey.

3. Palestinian refugees revolted against their hosts, the Jordanians, and tried to topple the Jordanian government. What choice King Hussein had, to leave his throne and submitted his government to the refugees? What did you do in Golden Temple? or doing in Nagaland, Asam, and Kashmir?

Anyway...Assuming that if a retired Pakistan pilot is hired by UAE to bomb something, what is wrong with it?He is doing with his personal capacity to get employed with freindly countries of Pakistan...You can not ask anyone about not to take a job when he has expertise..If this proves true, then it is case of individual Pakistan pilot employed with UAE and executing his boss UAE AIRFORCE order...Nothing to do with PAF or anything like that..Chill down...i feel it is not an issue even if we assume he has done it...

Wonder why this dude had to go out of his way to deny this news as far back as in 2010....was he debating in an online forum.....or where there's smoke....there's fire. !!!

Lockheed Martin is denying reports that Pakistan’s pilots are flying United Arab Emirates (UAE) Block 60 F-16 fighters.

The reports come as the downselect for India’s 126-fighter Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) program draws closer. Lockheed Martin is offering its Block 60 F-16IN, called Super Viper, in that competition. There is concern in certain circles that in a combat situation, India would not have an advantage if Pakistan is flying the same type of fighter.

“This is highly unlikely,” says Michael Griswold, director of advanced development programs at Lockheed Martin. “We’d have known this ... There is no evidence [of it]. There is an agreement between the U.S. and the UAE that [they] won’t allow that to happen.

Since when did Pakistani soldiers start taking an oath to protect the political integrity jordanian monarchy or obey King Assad's orders?

UAE fighter jets flying from bases in Egypt carried out airstrikes in Libya a week ago, according to US media reports. Question: Did Pakistani pilots working for UAE participate in these missions?

Targets were hit in the Libyan capital of Tripoli secretly without without informing the Obama administration beforehand. The first wave of airstrikes hit positions in Tripoli controlled by insurgent militias, including a small weapons depot. The second wave targeted rocket launchers and military vehicles owned by militias, the New York Timesreports.

UAE Air Force F-16E Block 60
It is widely known that the vast majority of pilots working for the UAE Air Force are Pakistanis. The involvement of Pakistan Air Force in UAE began in 1970s with a training mission in the Gulf nation. Some of the serving PAF officersare on deputation, but most are on civilian contracts with the Air Force Headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Officers of other nationalities have also trained UAE pilots, among them Moroccans, Canadians, Jordanians, and South Africans.

After 1998 US-sanctions on Pakistan after its nuclear tests, the United States objected to plans by the United Arab Emirates air force to contract up to 200 Pakistan air force fighter pilots to fly F-16D Block 60 fighters it had ordered from Lockheed Martin. The deal was significantly delayed as UAE threatened to re-open the fighter competition to choose alternate suppliers. It was eventually resolved and the US agreed to deliver the purchased F-16s to UAE.

If Pakistanis indeed took part in these missions, it would raise several serious questions:

1. Were these PAF's serving pilots on deputation with UAE Air Force? Or retired officers on contract? If they were on deputation, did they seek permission from Pakistani government to accept these missions?

2. Will such missions drag Pakistan into ongoing Middle East conflicts and hurt Pakistan's interests in the region?

3. Will those targeted seek revenge against Pakist
