It's very simple but most Pakistanis here who unfortunately represent the majority will disagree out of misplaced views on foreign policy.

China gains nothing by supporting Pakistan in this scenario. It doesn't serve to contain India and can be used as a bargaining chip with the US on other matters. It's also a mildly friendly gesture to both these countries in return for their support in their election to vice Presidency in the FATF.

On a broader note, it should be understood that the Chinese focus on the geo-political spectrum is largely geared towards the South China Sea and the Pacific Ocean at the time being. The CPEC is hyped up a lot but it's quite clearly a beta test in expanding shipping operations towards the West.

Whatever the outcome. America is a declared enemy of Pakistan. That much has been proven and established over and over again.

This motion was started by the US and not by Iran, Saudi Arabia or China. Whatever happened during the FATF meeting was due to US motion. Nations had to act the way did. The USA initiated this motion against Pakistan and that is the crux of the matter.

The US is a bitch of the Zionists and Hindus. It is not a sovereign nation. It is ruled by lobbies. Throw money and win support. That is the US in a nutshell.

Here comes the bitter truth though. The more the US acts as an enemy of Pakistan the worse things are going to get. The US can try to push Pakistan as badly as they like. It will only mean more resistance and more middle fingers.

Our beef isn't with China, Saudi Arabia or other voters at FATF. Neither do we care whether anyone has to gain anything by siding against us or in our favor. Our beef is with the US who started the motion against Pakistan. It is the US which is trying to put pressure on Pakistan by introducing a motion which will harm Pakistan's economy.

We will remember. We know what the US wants from Pakistan. It won't get anything. The US can act as hostile and arrogantly as it likes. It won't achieve anything. The US will find out the very hard way.

Many Pakistanis just don't want to face the reality that the Arabs consider us(and other South Asians) as their servants. Im sure there are exceptions...im sure there are good sensible Arab ppl...but in general Pakistan/Pakistanis don't command the same respect as US or some Western European nations(and their citizens). I'm not advocating that Pak/Pakistanis should be considered equal to them...surely US is a superpower and Pakistan isn't even close. So naturally KSA has more interests and wants to please US more while it can afford to care less about Pak/Pakistanis...all I hope for is that Pakistan/Pakistanis see that and become disillusioned. Don't confuse ur love/respect for that land with other aspects of that country. Forget this brotherly BS with them...yes I'm aware that KSA has helped Pak at various points in time...but they have also abandoned Pak at various points...it all comes down to their interests first and nothing is wrong with that. Pak/Pakistanis should do the same with KSA.
