Well in 1971 the population was 700 million, which is now 1400 million. It did not go down but gone up double. BD has the lowest population growth rate than PK an India. Its not only the population growth rate also child/mom, infant mortality, death at birth all are better than IND or Pak. Also we have 7/8% of people living overseas.

The figure are 70million(7 crore) and 140million(14 crore).

I don't think the people voted for secularism alone rather they hated Jamaat-BNP tyranny.There are more things to consider in BD other than religion.

and since I was a voter this time and voted for one of the nephews of the daughter of the father of the nation I know it very well.People don't give a crap about religion or secularism if they don't have enough food to fill their bellies.

You know, Muslims will always have loads of enemies till they have this word kaffir in their vocablary. Muslims hardly leave any options for others after calling them by this name. Whole Heaven breaks loose when someone in west calls a Pakistani " ****". Don't you think people react very strongly being called Kaffir?
