Dhaka vs Kolkata

.
Typical. Their inferiority complex has no bounds, clearly.
Lol... inferiority complex. You have only eight metro rail as of 2015. Five of them have inaugurated after 2010.Those five metro rail have combined length only 53 km. For a country of 125 crore population don't you think these are very inadequate? BD with only 1/8 of population of India, it is not very surprising to not have a metro rail in the context of India.
Metro rail is a very recent development in India itself. Before 2000s you have only one metro rail.We are somewhat late in this field due to less population, less need. But wait for Dhaka metro, which will be like building 8 metro rail each of them 20 km in India as per population.

.
We could have built one or two metro rail if only we could siphoned off 2-3 billion dollar from the pocket of our village people. We don't have 60 percent of our population defecate open, nor our village farmers committing suicide in thousands like in India. Our children are not dying on a similar number like India for massive malnutrition and lack of sanitation and other poverty related causes. Our 97 percent people have personal sanitary latrine and more than 97 percent drink pure drinking water and village road infrastructure is in much better shape than many road in Dhaka and Chittagong. What india is doing is nothing other than a form of Internal colonialism where 1 billion people are exploited for the benefit of few urban elite caste.

Meh,you have been acting like one ignorant idiot and have repeatedly ignored my advice to refer official Indian sources.Since you've failed to do that, here is it for you

All figures in rupee crores ( 1 billion ~ 6200 crore rupees in 2013-2014)

How do you compare ZERO kilometers of Metro rail in Bangladesh to Indian systems ? Your first metro rail, still under planning is only 20 km long if it ever completes by 2025 :omghaha:

By the time your Dhaka would have a metro rail,a Kerala-a state in India with population of 35 million would have 3 Metro rails !!

.Before 2000s you have only one metro rail.We are somewhat late in this field due to less population

,what ? Metro rail is built for a city, not an entire country - Your Dhaka is among the largest cities in world, but doesn't have a decent urban rail system - a metro/monorail/commuter rail !!

Metro rail projects -operational,under construction & approved in India

I'm sorry but you sound like an uneducated retard, and yes, you have quite an inferiority complex which is why you keep trying to out do yourself by posting rubbish each time. I'm not sure if it's on purpose, or if you really are slow-in-the-head.

So what? Whatever is in Dhaka is totally ours. While West Bengalis are in general poor and 30% of their state economy is indebted to India. 25% of their population are foreigners from other states in whose hands are the wealth are. They will see the shiny buildings and roads from outside but no power to enter or money to ride a taxi cab.

All of India belongs to all Indians...people of many states live in Bengal, and Bengalis live in many states. It's a concept that people of a district sized country will find very difficult to understand. :)

Yet Bangladesh has one of the lowest per capita income in the region. :)

Your numbers are totally off, check the length of Delhi metro alone..

Besides, metro rail is a part of the multiple transport systems in those cities, something that Dhaka doesn't have.

Metro rail is a very recent development in India itself

We are operating modern underground metro rail since 1984. :)

 When did refuting arrogant Bangladeshi rants with facts become 'trolling' ?

If you talk like that about my country, you'll be countered with facts that you may find hard to digest.

You can argue facts (yes even arrogant rants) in a respectful, civilized manner. Hiding behind a keyboard spewing vitriol is not what this forum is about. Putting people down is a habit of yours from almost all the posts you make.

You and a few other Indians come uninvited to the Bangladeshi forum and start troll threads like this just to put Bangladesh down. This is a total time-waster (and while it gives your ilk some strange hard on) does no one else any benefit. At all.

I see a problem with this because some other posters from other forums will go to the Indian forum and start troll threads as well. Where does this stupid immaturity end??

Learn to treat people with respect - otherwise don't post.

What's so disrespectful in the sentence ' you have been acting like one ignorant idiot ' ? I can fill this thread with screenshots of racist, casteist slurs your compatriots use in their debates with Indians

Let's start with you. Why don't you be the first one to be reasonable and civilized?

We will get to all the others in no time.

The quality of the arguments needs to improve in this forum.

Teach the Bangladeshis in here how to argue in a civilized manner.

. .
Spare the sermon - I guess Bangladeshi members need that more than anyone else.Start with your Bangladeshi 'professional'.

The fact remains that an Indian came in here (Bangladeshi part of the forum) and started a troll thread.

If you guys don't listen then ultimately you will get banned for trolling and your IP-range will be blacklisted as well.

You forget - the admins in here do know how to trace you. Even proxying won't help.

If you come into this forum with no other intent except trolling then I have nothing to say.

No he didn't - Some Bangladeshi journo,Sharier Khan went to Kolkata and found out that Kolkata is decades ahead of Dhaka-he wrote an article about that in some Bengali newspaper 'The Daily Star' which you folks couldn't digest.

Your numbers are totally off, check the length of Delhi metro alone..
I said after 2010.Delhi metro was built in 2002 and its length 208 km. But my point is, the 5 metro rail project inaugurated after 2011 have only combined 53 km length. Which is comparable to just one decent metro rail length.

Metro rail
There are currently 8 operational metro systems in India.

Metro rail lines in India are composed of both standard gauge and broad gauge. Projects like the Delhi Metro used broad gauge for their earliest lines but most new projects in India are on standard gauge as rolling stock imported from Europe is on Standard Gauge. One exception is the Ahmedabad Metro, which will use Broad gauge, as there is more space available inside the coach.[10]

Green background for the systems that are under construction. Blue background for the systems that are currently in planning, Yellow background for other proposed systems but no planning yet.
