There is not a single negative comment from India's side vis a vis the US-BD cooperation, forces one to believe that it's in consonance with India's objectives as well. And given that the US envisions India to play a bigger role in global affairs and doing something in India's backyard without considering Indian sentiments is absurd.
1) US should think about India's sentiment when it is trying to supply weapons to its small neighbour Bangladesh. But, USA may not care about that. Think of US-Pakistan relationship since 1950s. This relationship is still strong, but USA did not care about Pakistani sentiment when it started to deal with India.
2) The same thing might have happened to the BD-US relationship that is growing day by day for the last few years and has culminated to a point whereby the mighty USA is trying to sign a bilateral treaty under which it can provide huge amounts of weapons to the BD military.
3) Note that there was a time when India did not want even a standing military in Bangladesh. It wanted a snake without the poison tooth in its east. But, the people and the military of BD struggled hard to make their military strong. With US connection our military will run at top gear.
Lack of any reactions definitely suggests so, and considering the fact that all US diplomatic visits to BD were after or before New Delhi visits points in that direction. I see the whole direction of events as something to do with 2014 and also reducing influences and options of third countries, a new energy corridor to facilitate Myanmar as well, and larger Indian influence in its immediate neighborhood.
What neighbourhood you are talking about? Is it Nepal, sikim and Bhutan? Even the tiny SL has successfully kicked your *** very badly. So, do not try to meddle in the affairs of other countries. They are not Indian lackeys. Keep yourself within your country. That is better for your superpoor regional power.
