On night 25/26 Sep 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation
in general area Razmak, North Waziristan District, on reported presence of Khwarij.

During conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own
troops and khwarij, as a result of which, eight Khwarij were sent to hell.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed Khwarij, who remained actively
involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians.

Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as
security forces are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country.

On night 4/5 October 2024, fire exchange took place between the Security Forces and Khwarij in general area Spinwam, North Waziristan District. Resultantly, six Khwarij were sent to hell due to effective engagement by own troops.
However, during the intense fire exchange, Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shoukat (Age: 43 years, resident of: District Faisalabad), a brave officer who was leading his troops from the front, fought gallantly and embraced shahadat along with his five men. The five brave soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice include Lance Naik Muhammad Ullah (age: 31 Years, resident of District Khyber), Lance Naik Akhtar Zaman (age: 30 years, resident of District Lakki Marwat), Lance Naik Shahid Ullah (age:29 years, resident of District Tank) and Lance Naik Yusaf Ali (age:31 years, resident of District Orkazai), Sepoy Jameel Ahmed (age:26 years, resident of District Swat).
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.

On night 4/5 October, Law Enforcement Agencies conducted a joint intelligence based operation in general area Charbagh, Swat District.
During the conduct of operation, after an intense fire exchange, two khwarij including Kharji ring leader Atta Ullah @ Mehran were sent to hell, while one kharji was apprehended in injured condition.
Kharji Atta Ullah @ Mehran remained actively involved in numerous terrorists activities in the area including the Improvised Explosive Device blast on a Police Vehicle escorting the convoy of foreign dignitaries in Swat on 22 September 2024.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as security forces in coordination with law enforcement agencies are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country.
 
The Strategic Vision Institute (SVI), Islamabad, hosted Islamabad Non-Proliferation Conference 2024, a two-day international event bringing together a distinguished group of scholars and experts from around the world. The conference aimed at fostering constructive dialogue on global strategic issues and share Pakistan’s policy perspectives.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, was the Chief Guest. The conference featured keynote addresses delivered by distinguished policymakers and practitioners from Pakistan including General Zubair Mehmood Hayat (Retired), Former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Lt. Gen. Khalid Ahmed Kidwai, Advisor National Command Authority (NCA), and Lt. Gen. Sarfraz Sattar, Advisor, NCA.
Participants included prominent international scholars from Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMEMO RAS), Center for Energy and Security Studies (CENESS), Russia, China Institute of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR),China, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, US, Royal United Services Institute(RUSI),UK, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University), Saint Petersburg State University, Shanghai University, Peking University, University at Albany, State University of New York and University of Birmingham.
This high-level conference not only reinforced Pakistan’s commitment to global non-proliferation efforts but also emphasized the importance of strategic dialogue in maintaining regional and international security.
