Developments and Turkish operations in Libya

An overview.

With backing from TB2 drones, GNA managed to capture 3 towns west of Tripoli. As consequence, the land siege of Tripoli has been lifted.

Following towns have been captured.
  • Surman
  • Sabratha
  • Al-Ajaylay

In addition, several of the minor mountain towns remaining under the control of Haftar in the west Tripoli area are currently negotiating their terms of surrender!

In short, Haftar lost the entirety of west Tripoli today!

Aren't those recaptured areas were lost in the last December?

Great news! Lets hope that they can empty the pocket along the Tunisian border soon and have a larger protected area to work from. I wonder what happened with Al Watiyah Airbase. Perhaps they couldn't hold it but better chance now.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
FUCKING RATS NOW WANT CEASEFIRE

Haftar wanted to become a dictator. Now it seems like he will be captured for the second time in his life :omghaha:

Don't give these scum a ceasefire. Let the TB2s continue striking fear in their wicked hearts.

With the west Tripoli coastline completely secured, the focus has now shifted inland and on Al Assah, a desert town 30 km north of Al Watiya airbase.

We need to move quickly to capture the airbase and the aircrafts stationed there before they are evacuated.

If we capture that small red part with an airplane logo(most likely airbase) then all of the remaining part of western Libya is easy job since it’s uninhabited desert

That is Al-Watiya airbase. GNA must capture it. The desert town of Al-Assah (showed on the map, northwest of the Airbase and close to the Tunisian border has just been captures). Further south from the airbase there are a half dozen mountain towns which need to be captured as well.
