Develop a satellite that India could gift to SAARC countries: Modi

The question is, will all SAARC countries fund it? Let's see: Pakistan? No. Bangladesh? Doesn't seem too keen. Nepal? May want but cannot afford. Bhutan? We can do it on their behalf. Maldives? Maybe, but can't afford. Sri Lanka? Maybe interested and may help with funding
What if India decides to launch a couple of satellites free for SAARC? These countries need pay only for the services provided.

For a change, please read the topic.
Pakistan is already relevant to this discussion.

Its about India launching a SAARC satellite. In your opinion does Pakistan still exist in South Asia? Or has it relocated to Middle East?

The topic is related to SAARC and not Pakistan alone, yet you chose to target Pakistan with the usual gibberish.

Usually it is the other way around. Satellites are paid for while usage is free.

See, we are not exactly teeming with $5 trillion economy and subsequently prosperous nation. We already donate a lot to our friendly SAARC countries like Nepal and Bhutan. Making a satellite with their joint access is fine but if we need to include the others who are much colder towards us means we need to at least be business-like.

Even with ISRO's low-pricing, these other countries cannot afford such ventures.

The person who he responded to explicitly raised the issue of Pakistan 'not wanting' the satellite. Hence he raised it. Why are you blaming him?

Bangladesh will only get the control station in their country, the subsystems will be manufactured, assembled and launched from a foreign nation. Learn proper English to interpret that.

Which person? see his post #7, i don't see him quoting anyone. However if that is the case than i may have misunderstood his remarks.

A satellite for a defunct organisation, talk about a joke! Don't waste your money, Pakistan won't use it, Bangladesh don't want it...so this will be a India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka satellite...Better still dissolve SAARC.

you forgot Afghanistan and we know if Bangladesh will use it or not as "bihari" opinion doesn't matter in Bangladesh.

Advice your government not to participate in sarc summit. It is automatically devolved for you.
