You cant destroy mosque which is there for almost 4 dacades on bs issue and all that while the mosque committee has legal paper behind its every action sinds that park became mosque. These seculer judges need to come out of the brownsahib mentality of trying to please religioun haters and act responsible.

Bhai which legal paper are you talking about their is no legal paper and as per establish rules related to property even as per Islamic principals public land can not be occupied.

The paper which you are referring are fake and acquired after illegally occupying that piece of land.

Secondly that masjid is not 40 year old but 25 years old even by the claims of occupant of that occupied land.

Thirdly that occupied land is in commercial area not in residential area so there is no big issue that many people will deprived of their place of warships, as other nearby mosques in that area are available & could be used by worshipers.

Anything illegal must be destroyed..... Doesn't matter what it is.

In that case more than 50% of Karachi residential areas & 60%-70% of all the religious establishments like masjids , imambarga, madarsa of all sect would be in danger.

The thing is as long as Sindh Government does not make a proper plan for Karachi city and support & back it by local laws these issues will keep coming.

This issue of land grabbing could even creat a small scale civil war in the city.

Most of the new settlements after 70s till 90s (first wave) then 2003 (second wave) till to date will be in danger and the effects of this type of operation would be felt in all of the country including KPK, Punjab (especially Siraiki belt) and AJK and to some extent in interior Sindh as well

The problem with your statement is that you think people are inherently anti islam or against Mosques (Btw this is the thinking of TTP as well). Mastan khan eloquently brought forward the essence of Islamic teaching explaining why it should be done.

Its not about religion but about commercial interests of the so call religious leader who is now acting as thug, btw this is not the first case of demolition of mosque, there are few other examples from recent past on top of my head I can recall the demolition of illegal mosque & residential area at Hill Park land and another mosque ( I am forgetting the name of the park right now) which just few months back demolish on the sane legal grounds

Yes the Mosque is illegal but in the common law there’s a principle of squatter’s rights.

If the person unlawfully occupying the land can show that he’s not only taking care of it but has improved it from the original state he may be entitled to entire the land itself or compensation in kind.

Only if he has occupied this land for over seven years and the original owner is either missing or has abandoned the property.

In UP, a lady District Magistrate (Durga Shakti Nagpal) order demolition of an illegal construction and refused to budge. She became a "hero" of few days in the news. Then she was transferred by the sickular government. And everything was back to normal.
Things have changed a little bit since "Sanghis" took over. But, they are always on the prowl. Always looking for an excuse to encroach. Whether it is building a shrine or offering namaz. The arguments they give are "it takes only 5 minutes". Or "there are not enough mosques". And they are not mullahs or maulavis. They are 'normal' citizens.

So the land has now been taken back by the Karachi incompetence years later, unbelievable. So why not also take over the ownership of this masjid and run it and kick out the mosque corrupt committee as a compromise to this sticky situation. It’s not like they built a shopping mall or flats on the land. And I do agree, that the ownership of the land was theft any one involved with it alive jail them. Purchased illegally, but has served a very important task for the surrounding area over the decades!

Yes if IK's land is built illegally; that has to be. The accountability should be across the board.
Here the basic issue is who are in government departments are responsible for such think; they have to be brought to justice; seems none is interesting to eliminate the roots, if you go deeper you will find most of such culprits will be political appointees by killing the merit.
That's why no politicos are interested in such an arrangement/legislation; which could be instrumental in barring such activities - this system benefits them more.

prphet mohmmad PBUH paid the money to two brothers owners of masjid e nabvi place . while these jahil mullahs even work 50 years they can not buy a land so they grab it on the name of islam .
The land of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi belonged to two young orphans, Sahl and Suhayl, and when they came to know that Muhammad PBUH wished to acquire their land for the purposes of erecting a mosque, they went to Muhammad and offered the land to him as a gift; prophet Muhammad PBUH insisted on paying a price for the land because they were orphaned children.
