I'm going to buy a new laptop but could not been able to decide because I get out of touch with these things for so long.

As I have been a computer guy who like's gaming back in 2007 or late now there are much powerful gaming cards & computer specs

So...

Throw some suggestions please ...

i seriously doubt with that money you can buy decent gaming laptop they are quite expensive, If you are serious gamer don't go for laptop you should build up your own PC by purchasing stuff of your choice.

Hehe OK. Frankly, Dell is crap in my experience. HP is OK. My personal favourite is Lenovo ThinkPad series. Lenovo has manged to retain the solid build of IBM ThinkPad. You can find a good model in your price range.

Using vaio for last 5 years .. never cleaned it even once...I use it so rough that even an army soldier would be scared to go through that kind of stress.. its still running smooth.

HP and samsung were the best.

Go Dell. HP leaves a lot to be desired. I had an HP iCore5 laptop 3 yrs back - 2 times the screen replaced, 3 times keyboard replaced, 1 hd replaced. It is a joke, i have HP-11C/41C scientific calculators from 1985, both are still working and in continous use - never let me down. I tell this to HP, they think i am twisted in my head expecting similar quality.

Meanwhile, i have a dell d630, still running good with Win 10 on top of it. The newer dell series are pretty good.

My sister using dell laptop i3 & its battery after 5 years can't store a 1 sec electricity she's like using with plug into scocket 24/7
