After being here on this forum for a couple months I've noticed that anyone who even has a slightly different narrative than our armed forces is suddenly a traitor. There is literally no room for debate. You will get nothing but labels even if you have an opinion about it. Personally I have nothing but respect for the men who risk their lives to save ours. I do however consider it a problem when being critical of something makes you wajib-ul-qatl.

One of our favorite past times as Pakistanis is discussing politics and other state institutions. Open Facebook right now and you'll see half the posts will be making fun of top officials, questioning their actions, calling top leaders corrupt. The ex PM was the butt of the joke for his whole tenure. The current one is called a puppet. I have just one question. Are all these people traitors ? Are these not accusations ? Should we put all these people in jail ? Unfortunately I'm a khooni liberal so I don't know exactly what counts as treachery so maybe you could all enlighten me.

Please give a to the point answer and if you can avoid calling me a hinjew liberal fascist secular agent, agar aadat say majboor hee hain tou sir pay thanda paani daal Kay ayain.

Treachery = sympathizing with an enemy

.
Treachery = partnering with enemy and supporting it in any manner

However you are not a traitor. You are just a useless idiot who wants to be liberal since that looks "cool".

Traitors are Hussain Haqqani type of things.

Then I think you're a traitor because from the looks if it you spend your days researching India and reading tweets made by Indians.

I have already given you definition of treachery and it doesn't apply to me.

Neither I partner with enemies of Pakistan nor I support them in any manner.

Treason is about assisting an enemy to the realm, but each country have their own laws, so something could be treason in one country, but not in another.

Some examples of things considered to be treason:
  • Attacks on a sovereign. This is high treason.
  • Waging war on the realm.
  • Provoking an enemy to attack the realm.
  • Trying to overthrow a legal government through violence.
  • Spying for an enemy.
  • Conspiring to do anything above.
Humanitarian assistance to an enemy is generally not considered treason.

The last trial for treason in Sweden was for planting a cream cake in the face of the king.
They were convicted, but luckily for them capital punishment is no more over here.

A military coup would be considered treason in most countries.
Breaking a cease-fire could also be considered treason.

Lmao seems like people didn't understand exactly what my post is about .Me or anyone who is critical or in disagreement with Pak Army is quick to be labelled as a "traitor" just because we share the same opinions as them.

The idea was that if we can critique the judiciary, elected govt and even police/rangers then we should also be free to express our views regarding the army.

Betrayal/disloyal/perfidy

You’re not a traitor - what’s your view on the Armed Forces

since Pak Army is highly regarded organization in Pakistan, and despite the totally corrupt politicians, it was the Pak Army that always had come to the aid and rescue of its citizens - from maintaining peace to bringing the economy back on track (musharaff era).
the question is - what of the Pak army are you in disagreement with? can you give a proper basis for the disagreement?

Bangladesh

From limited reading this seems like a hyper nationalist forum with a self selected group of blind Army supporters that habitually blame everything on India , Israel, USA and their own government if anything else fails.

What's funny is that when they call their own government incompetent they portray the incompetence of average Pakistani to elect a decent government. So either there is a national scale dumbness, or this forum is just a minority group that does not represent real Pakistan. I lean towards the latter.

Every sane and reasonable human being, regardless of what nationality, ethnicity or religion he is, considers it a problem.... But unfortunately, we, as a nation, have become insanely radicalised and unreasonably intolerant
