I think Europe is declining but not the U.S. China's development will have huge benefits to surrounding nations, just like how Britain's industrial revolution benefited neighboring European countries greatly, not because those Europeans were smart or so inventive, but due to geographic locations, radiating from western Europe outwards.

Integration of East Asia benefits East Asia most. Not sure about India.

I don't see many Indians in business. The business school here is purely Chinese and Korean. Lots of Indians in EE and CS though there are Indians in my department too.

Which business school are you from? I have always been more interested in business. My grand father was a great business man, I admire him.

I have no substantial business connections with them but I can understand your feeling, since they don't bureaucratically support a business friendly environment.

It's not just about that. Our company spent a lot of money for IT consultants from india and they did not deliver. The project was delayed twice and we started to question their competence. Finally the fat cats decided to spend good money and hire local IT consultants and we are going somewhere
