Yes genius, you have it all figured out. Where are you sitting? Afghanistan is getting bombed by taliban? Palestinians are killed by taliban? Iraqis? The WAR has been brought to THEM. They are defending/counter attacking.

We first bombed afghanistan and waziristan... then they started bombing us.

They get weapons from china/russia/america/pakistan's etc black market. money from supporters who BELIEVE IN JIHAD AGAINST THE crusaders and their allies.

And its better than being "sucked in by the oldest ploy in the book rather than be american allies.". Seriously, you still cant digest the fact that PAKISTAN is the SECOND BIGGEST US AID receiver AFTER ISRAEL? How much money did taliban get, compared to Pakistan? Please, facts. Come out of your bubble.

at present, the taleban thrive off the narcotics trade and other sources of income.....of course Afghanistan is under NATO occupation and it's a fact of history that the region has never taken kindly to foreign military occupations.

and we dont blindly just bomb places for the sake of it.....the Air Force has played an instrumental role in COIN, but definitely not a dominating one. We have seen successes (with many challenges remaining) in our side of the fence; you are basically implying that we have the same tactics and strategy that the NATOs employ in Afghanistan. Well to a large degree, we've done things quite differently on our side. That's why we're seeing better results.
