We have a saying When you owe the bank a million dollars, the bank owns you. But when you owe the bank a billion dollars, you own the bank. I think Dar is believing in that literally. Reality is, Pakistan does not own IMF, in fact the tragedy is Pakistan does not own Pakistan. The Prime Minister himself has said that in many ways, the most recent version being the investors are his Masters.
