This is solely and exclusively about the problem of suicide trolls that infest PDF even after
@waz did his Night of the Long Knives; these are people who have registered themselves multiple times in the past, and have kept that account barely alive, until their current avatar gets banned. Then one of those dormant ids is invoked and springs into instant life.
There are only a handful of these sociopaths around. They seem to fit a profile, working in repetitive jobs at menial levels - one of them reported grandly that he was fund manager in a mutual funds company, probably a magnification of 100x of the kind of work he got - and frustrated out of their skulls. They come to fora like this one for some excitement; they get to piss people off, and watch them grow deep purple with anger, and do all this with no repercussions. It's all online, so who's coming after them? Nobody. As somebody pointed out offline, they are knights in shining armour, and would like nothing better than to see an outbreak of hostilities. They will never have to face a bullet, and it is at the moment unlikely that they will face a shrapnel fragment.
They live for the attention. Giving them attention is the breath of life for them. When this kind of profile - started in 2014 or 2015, very low number of posts, unusual number of negative ratings - appears and starts the most vulgar of exchanges,
the best thing to do is to put them on your ignore list. You will be surprised how quickly they will disappear.
This is just a suggestion. Please take it in the spirit in which it is offered. No Indian poster would like to be associated to this chewing-gum-stuck-to-the-shoe-sole kind of creature, or serve as a stalking horse for his playing out his fantasies. The suggestion has nothing to do with our opinion of what you are posting, but it has everything to do with our being to tell you, politely but firmly, our point of view without having to deal with the confusion created by suicide trolls.
For Indian members: we don't need to be clubbed with this kind of low-life. Please let us stay away from them.
