Damn, 8 pages of this stupid issue.

1) It was bollywood director who stole the song, has nothing to do with Indians. Doesn't matter if we accept or deny.

2) Yes, we accept theft (even if it isn't), get over with it It was very delighting and I've seen it twice. Pakistan should thank India for making the song so legendary.

Even Zandu Baam tried to sue the director despite sales figures going up multiple times !

Well royalty should be paid to the original composers. Jatin-lalit should be taken to the court along with the producers if they dont pay up.

On a side note, I am surprised at so many Pakistanis shouting from the rooftops at every Pakistani song that is used in Bollywood. Bollywood churns out like thousands of songs every year and if a few are lifted from across the border, that doesnt really make them cheats. Stop crying people.

And are our music and films really crap? Why dont you check with your neighborhood CD shop?

seriously out of millions of Pakistani hardly even 100 would know that how many songs and movies India had copied and in most of the cases even copied word to word. So there is nothing called touchy.

Its another matter that few members here from Pakistan do have knowledge of such stuff copied by India thats why we are highlighting it.

Its a good trend we should highlight such things so that the real composer, singer, producer, get the credit not the one who stolen the stuff.

And are our music and films really crap?

Thousands of songs in one year surely has 99% crap. As far as for the good stuff even young generation like myself and others are still listening to Old Indian songs sung by Lata and Rafi composed by good musicians many decades back.

As far the current lot its crap i would prefer some Tamil music over the copied stuff

99% is an exaggeration. But then again, a percentage rating like that is subjective. Whats crap for you may be good for somebody else. We all have different standards you know. And the fact that you are listening to Lata and Rafi does prove that we are good. Different people different tastes. The RD of yesterday is the AR of today.
