Bren will take this deal, all things point towards it, scar is a pleasant fiction mery bhai, its cost prevents it from becoming the mbr of any cash drained nation like pakistan, if army chooses scar this decision would be in contradiction to the pak army doctrine of play it cost effective play it smart as long as difference in capabilities is minimal...

SCAR H and Beretta were only competitors left in x 51 category or in other words tender to replace G3. SCAR H has won that one. As for BREN it was competing to replace Type 56 and BREN and AK-103 both failed endurance test. Still BREN has most chances of coming in x 39 category I mean replacing Type 56 but would go through lot of changes before that happens.

Don't believe me I am not here make you believe and we have done lot of shady deals in the past and MOU doesn't makes the deal with BREN we haven't still signed any deal and it failed tests but so did OPLOT M but both after some changes have capability of passing tests so BREN for me is still leading contender to replace our Type 56 and SCAR H will replace G3. Will you stop mixing two things one Gun is not replacing both type 56 and g3 please first get that in your mind

SCAR is going to replace all G3 not just special forces in fact biggest special forces I mean SSG are hardly interested in getting this weapon soon. SCAR is bound to replace all G3 and G3 are not used by SSG or SSGN or SSW. G3 is used by infantry in fact not even LCB uses G3.

No it's not infantry still uses G3. Type 56 only entered scene because G3 was too big for close combat battle.And Pakistan issued two tenders one was to replace Type 56 and one to replace G3. SCAR H seems to have won G3 but confusion is about which Rifle would come to replace type 56
